An English Gem near Union Station

This budget accommodation is ideally located near Union Station and the Capitol. Both are within walking distance. A convenience store and a Chinese Takeaway are nearby. Bus 80 is basically outside the door. The flat is very safe, clean, and surprisingly spacious. The kitchen contains what is needed. The free wifi worked without problems. Dr Koura is always helpful, if you encounter problems. I slept like a baby in the very comfy bed. I would definitely book this accommodation again.

The sound-proofing could be better and a few chairs and tables would be nice.

The bathroom hood doesn't work, it's very humid, you'll pay an additional $60 cleaning fee and will be required to wash the dishes and take out the trash yourself, otherwise the owner will charge additional fees from your $100 bucks deposit. The parking space is not free; you will pay $20 to register it. The owner responds to messages slowly, if you have any questions, don’t expect a quick solution. Trying to save money will cost you comfort, better consider other accommodation options

The price was right, the apartment was spacious, and the bed was remarkably comfortable. I've been on the road for weeks and I slept better here than in hotel rooms that cost much more. The host is very friendly.

It would be nice to have a small desk and chair for using a laptop. There's a table in the kitchen, but it's a little tall to sit and check emails.

Good value for money.

A little too basic as nowhere for the three of us to sit and eat together, needed either a coffee table for the sofa or a couple more stools for the bar table. A bedside table would also have been nice.

It was a great value and in a safe, quiet location. It’s fairly close to all the sites and downtown. Fully stocked kitchen although we didn’t do any cooking. I would definitely stay again.

There’s no TV, but by the time we go back to the apartment we were ready for bed.

The location was good and with little effort it was possible to find parking on the street. The apartment was spacious and clean. I thought that the bed was comfortable. The owner is pleasant, courteous and responsive.

There is a nice big kitchen and a table with one high uncomfortable stool, too high for your legs to slide under the table. There was no place for more than one person to comfortably sit and eat. The refrigerator and freezer were not on and smelled bad. In addition to paying a $60.00 Cleaning Fee, you are expected to take all trash outside and around to the back of the building and place in the proper containers. You are also expected to wash any dirty dishes or be fined. The trash container for the kitchen is in the back of the kitchen, around a corner where part of the ceiling abruptly drops down to a rectangular shape. Be careful when you walk to that trash container in that part of the kitchen because I banged my head hard and received a cut that took about a week to heal. From the way that the apartment was set up, my Wife and I got the impression that eating in the apartment was being discouraged. My Wife thought that the bed was very uncomfortable. There were no night tables and no electrical outlets near the head of the bed, so bring an extension cord, especially if you need to plug in a C-PAP device as I did. The penalty for staying overtime is $20.00 an hour and after over a week after I left the apartment, I had to remind the owner to refund my $100.00 deposit.
