Very comfortable, clean, private apartment with everything you need for a short trip. Really excellent attention to detail, level of cleanliness and facilities all great. Especially thankful for birthday card, balloon, chocolates and helpfulness of host Ed in providing local restaurant details in advance of our stay. The communal lounge with terrace balcony was a lovely place to rest in the heat and overlook the beach below. Shame about the trees obscuring the sea view but looking left you can see out to watch ships passing with the binoculars provided. A good selection of games, dvds, helpful for those travelling with families. Lovely place, will return.

The staff & management. Location & all the extra’s (snacks, milk etc). We arrived a lot later than anticipated, but it was no issue for them still waited up to greet us on arrival, which after travelling from Australia was very very appreciative

Myself, my husband and son have just had a 3 night stay and couldn’t fault it. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable and it felt like a home from home. The owner Ed was very accommodating and helpful and we loved the little extra touches provided such as chocolates, milk amd sweets for out little boy. We will definitely be back!

The hosts were sweet and kept asking if we needed anything.

Ed was fantastic & the property was perfect brilliant location. Milk, extra goodies for our stay, great space & very clean We stayed in the Lady Hamilton room, brilliant value.

Sometimes can hear cars/ people passing the window.

Everything could be easily reached by foot from this location - it was the perfect accommodation for a family of four in Southend-on-Sea! Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Everything was perfect.

The property is beautiful, clean and very well taken care of. The location is perfect, close to the city centre but still gives you the peace to rest. The communication with the owner, Ed is excellent and we were even offered a late check out, which was really appreciated as we were travelling with a toddler. The complementary chocolates, tea, etc, was just the cherry on the cake. We had a lovely time, highly recommend!

We liked the location (20 yards from the high street,) the building (very charming,) the host (Ed!) the facilities (good shower and hot water, a full kitchenette, a sitting room with a dining table and small couch, good bed, etc.) and the cleanliness.
