Heaton Park Road Professional Lets

Amazing location and very equipped for our trip. It is such an ideal size of apartment for a group of people, plenty of space and only 10 minute drive from city centre.

Very spacious

The location was excellent and very much enjoyed the fact that the park was so close so we could have a walk and explore the green space on our doorstep. It was also brilliant that the accommodation had large rooms with double beds and therefore could accommodate a large group.

Lack of mirrors in the bedrooms and lack of forks in the kitchen but other than that it was fab :)

I do not recommend this place. Nice large apartment, spacious, good for big groups BUT the house was disgusting, cob webs everywhere, bedsheets were smelly and when we asked for clean sheets the owner ignored my calls and texts, would not provide clean sheets for us, pillows were also stained and smelly. We could feel all springs digging into us in the beds so had an uncomfortable sleep. The house was not maintained at all - walls were patched up and plater chips everywhere, hinges on door were coming off and toilet seats were loose so couldn’t even sit properly, toilet roll holder was broken, lack of mirrors (2 small mirrors out of 6 double bedrooms). Check in was at 4pm and if we wanted to check in earlier it was extra £50 an hour. And check out was at 10am. Lastly the owner asked for a security deposit a couple hours before check in, of £250 to be bank transferred or cash (not through booking.com). This made me feel very uncomfortable, I thought it was a scam and luckily I had enough funds to cover this last minute payment. I was told I won’t get it back until cleaner had checked the property but the owner would not give any indication as to when this would be. I had to pay this as I was scared something would happen if I didn’t and I was driving up 4 hours to Newcastle - Poorly informed. This payment should go through booking.com for security of the customer. The owner told me booking take a cut so he doesn’t do it this way. I should have been informed about this payment before when I booked 6 months in advance, I only received his bank details on the day of checkin. It took 5 days and endless chasing for me to get my deposit back.

spacious good location

the host misled us in thinking we would get our full £250 deposit back but he kept part of it back claiming an early check in fee occurred when we checked in 30mins prior and no one was staying in the property the night before. to be then messaged advising if we write a review he would be writing back with terms and conditions when we werent aware. good place to but we paid £700 and then an additional £50 which seems we wont get back
