Al Carmine Apartments Towers view with AC

This is a fantastic property and the owner Francesco was very friendly and helpful. We had the apartment with 2 bedrooms and en suite in both, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal and Francesco was good enough to pick us up from the train station and return us at the end of our stay to avoid pulling our luggage through the town. Lucca is a fantastic place to visit and this apartment and Franesco made our trip even better

We had a wonderful stay in this exceptional apartment in Lucca. The location surely cannot be bettered - so central. We were on the top floor of the most beautiful historic building, and the apartment is full of character, furnished in the traditional style. There was even a piano on the landing! And I had a view straight across to the Guinigi Tower (that’s the one with trees growing at its top!) Francesco was the BEST host ever, making sure we found the right parking spot, meeting us there, giving us a lift in, and then taking me to the station at the end. He was also super-responsive on WhatsApp, and a tremendous source of advice and local recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Very central location, house very well equipped! Francesco was really very helpful in everything! From the transit to the house till the recommendations!! Thank you Francesco, you made our accommodation in Lucca a dream!

Everything was nice! The only thing was that there was no elevator, but we had no problem since we didn't have very heavy luggage!

Clean, historical building. Everything needed for a stay.

No washing machine (at least I couldn't find it).

It was a good location and Francesco was very helpful in offering restaurant suggestions and places to visit. He kept in close touch with us throughout our stay to insure that everything was going well, which we appreciated. There is a trattoria right outside the entrance to the building a Which we found to be most convenient and quite good. The apartment is walking distance to everything inside the walled city.

Lots of stairs to get to the apartment and it was a bit too dark.

Amazing location, supermarket next door, lovely restaurant downstairs, fantastic shower, hot and powerful. One person found their bed comfortable, the other didn't. Very authentic apartment with original features.

Very dark, especially in the kitchen area. Construction work going on across the road early in the morning. Personally we would prefer bedding that can be changed totally between guests.

Just brilliant communication from Francesco the owner. The apartment is minutes from the main shopping street,the sensational Amfiteatro with wonderful restaurants and has a great Trattoria Gigi next door! Thank you!

Fabulous apartment in the old city. Owner and his son were extremely helpful, recommending places to eat and picking us up from our car and driving us to the apartment. Bed very comfortable.

Better lighting in the apartment would have been useful. Because it is a very old (and beautiful) property it is naturally quite dark inside which we found a little claustrophobic - better lighting would have really helped.

It is central, walkable to train and restaurants..the owner was so helpful and kind during our entire stay, so easy to communicate with.

Nothing, it was great, didn’t even mind the stairs.
