IMPORTANT: I got stuck in the elevator during a power outage. The building was non-responsive when I rang the bell from inside the elevator or call their phone number. The Host refuses any responsibility, saying that they have nothing to do with what happens with the building. I split my time between Playa and my home residence, so I’m very aware that power outages are very common. Other buildings I’ve stayed at have backup power for essential things like the elevator. This is important to know because you don’t know if you’ll get stuck for 10 mins or for the entire day, and you can’t expect the building or the host to do anything to help. Location: 8/10. I prefer the uptown part of Playa as it’s quieter. There are dogs across the street that bark non-stop every time they see people outside, so make sure to bring ear plugs. Rooftop pool: 9/10 Apartment size: 9/10 Bathroom cleanliness: 9/10 Plenty of toilet paper provided

Building management: 0/10 - - Rude front desk woman who’s obsessed with her hair, unwilling to help with any problems. Can’t even bother to smile when you say hi. - No backup power for the elevator and no help from the building if you get stuck during an outage. - Electric scooters are not allowed in the elevator so I had to leave mine downstairs. I was told I could plug it in to charge it, but I came down in the morning to find it unplugged. I need it for my daily commute. They just do not care. - Sometimes, especially at night, the front door of the building is locked. If there is no one at the front desk, then you’ll just have to wait. Sometimes it’s quick, sometimes it’s not. Don’t expect the host to help with this either. Apartment functionality & comfort: 1/10 - Very limited power outlets. There is none by the bed, so I wasn’t able to charge my phone at night, or I had to leave it on the kitchen counter. I had to use the same outlet for the phone/laptop, microwave, and kettle. - 5 mins of hot water daily. - No proper blanket was provided. Only a flat sheet and a light blanket. - No proper curtain, only blinds. Bring your own sleep mask if you don’t want bright street lights in your eyes at night. - Kitchen lacks paper towels or kitchen towel. - No bathroom mat was provided for outside the shower. - No cleaning or replacement sheets or towels were offered during my 12 day stay. Cleanliness: 1/10 - Bed did not smell fresh. Only one layer of sheets and pillow cases used. - Every single plate and glass in the kitchen was dirty. Cabinets were greasy. - Aside from the bathroom which was very clean, the rest of the apartment was not very clean. Lots of hair on the floor when I arrived. - Sofa pillows have seen better days Host 0/10 - Unresponsive and unwilling to help or take responsibility for any issues. Saying that they are only responsible for the apartment but have nothing to do with the building is unacceptable.

Condo très confortable et très beau.

Le service est pourri. On m'avait laissé une serviette sale et mouillée, j'ai essayé a plusieurs reprises davoir nouvelle serviette et linge a vaisselle- on a complètement ignoré mes demandes. Beaucoup de vaisselle manquante. Personnel de soir et fin de semaine ( femme) à l'entrée de l'édifice désagréable mais celle de jour très gentille.

Considering the price of this appartment, it was definitely a good choice for what I got. It was clean and the roof top area with pool is very nice.

Acessing the appartment on arrival and communication with the staff at the receptiom was difficult (no english at all). Furthermore, after my first night I did ask for an additional blanket (via booking chat) since during night it got pretty chilly and I was freezing - my request was never answered. The actual center of PdC was a bit to far away if you like to spend evenings out,, next time I'd consider a closer location

Great condo, minimally stocked, but had everything 2 people would need. The location was perfect, located 3-5 mins from the beach and one block from 5th Avenue. Great roof top pool. Secure building.

A beautiful balcony that had no chairs to sit out and enjoy. This was a little disappointing. I contacted the owner but failed to receive any chairs for the week we were there.
