Condos with ocean view pool in Av 10 & 60 street

It’s a beautiful apartment, exactly like the pictures. Good kitchen with everything you need to cook, plus a blender and coffee maker. It’s in a real Mexican neighborhood away from the tourist zone.

It’s put pretty far from the central tourist area. That’s either a good or bad thing, depending on what you want. As other reviews point out, it’s only a ten minute walk from La Quinta Avenida. But that street goes on forever. It’s actually a ten minute walk to the very end of the tourist strip. It’s about 30 minutes to the central area, and 45 minutes to the ADO touristica or ferry stations. If you need to go to those places you need a taxi. The hosts only speak Spanish. It is Mexico, after all. But that made it hard to check in. Even without a language barrier, check in was bad. The guard did not expect me, so I had to wait 20 minutes while I tried to contact the host. The host said the key was in a lockbox, but the lockbox does not open. The host had no idea how I could get inside. I eventually tried the door and it was open, and the key was in a drawer. Why didn’t the host just tell me that?

The apartment was as pictured and very comfortable, plenty of space and everything you needed for your stay including a very well equipped kitchen, balcony, storage, good aircon and a ceiling fan. The pool was also lovely, as was the whole rooftop area with a lovely view. It was also just a little back from the main strip so you got peace and quiet while also being walking distance to everything. It is also walking distance to some of the less touristy beaches (turn left and head away from 5th Ave), I didn’t discover this till my last day but was great to see a different part of Playa!

There were ocean glimpses from the balcony but not exactly and ocean view, however the view from the rooftop made up from this! There really wasn’t anything to dislike about the place!
