19 High Petergate - Next to York Minster

N/A Location excellent

Living room/kitchen over furnished. No tv in Living room only tv in bedroom Toilet seat discoloured, had to be replaced Cold in flat but it was a cold really wet day.

Location good Bed good size

Didn’t like that bathroom downstairs as in 70s. Tv in bedroom so again up and down stairs to make brew , even though we had fans the room was hot all windows are locked plus plastic perplex over window so if fire at bottom stairs no means of escape

lovely decor, and design. Fantastic location. Very easy to find and access.

Shower took a while to drain.

The location was excellent right by the minster. High Petergate is one of the best streets in York.

The location is amazing - you can see the Minster from your window! You are so close to all the hustle and bustle of this very walkable city, which makes getting out and about much easier.

There is a pub a couple doors down with live music every night. This usually lasted until about 11:00 every night.

The set up of the apartment. Well appointed. Clean. Comfy bed. Nice shower. Good facilities. Excellent view. Absolutely highly recommended if you're looking for a lovely apartment in York! The chairs by the window are an excellent idea - the view of York Minster was perfect. We've stayed in many places & this certainly met our high expectations in terms of cleanliness, quality & location. Thank you!

Not a criticism! The heating thermostat could have been easier to use.

Excellent location, right across from the Minster.

Bedroom was upstairs from bathroom. The fact that the property was 2 story was not disclosed on booking website. It was a bit of a problem for me, and could be a real big problem for some. NOTE THAT THIS IS A 2 STORY PROPERTY, WITH THE BEDROOM UPSTAIRS FROM THE BATHROOM!

The location was amazing. Being so close to York Minster was great, especially on new years eve.

I understand its a safety aspect, but there needs to be a window that can be opened. Even in this cold weather a bit of airflow was needed, it did become quite stuffy at times because of a lack of ventilation.

The location couldn't be better, only about 5 minutes walk to the shambles (if that!). Comfy bed, smart TV for easily casting your own shows. Nice and clean space with good kitchen area for saving money on meals, the minster view was amazing and it was great sitting in the window upstairs listening to the bells. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed for our stay including milk, tea and coffee with some seasonings and oil etc for cooking.

The heating wasn't great and it was very cold at night and the shower had an issue - but the hosts sent a plumber to sort the shower out when we made them aware of the issue. The hosts were helpful in resolving the shower problem which showed us that they are good hosts that care about the stay. For the heating - to be fair it is a (roughly) 17th century listed building so you can't expect the modernities you would have in a double glazed hotel The only thing that would've made us feel more comfortable (aside from some warmth) would be a proper lock on the door. It was a smart lock with a code entry which didnt feel very secure overnight as there wasnt an option to double lock the door or a chain etc
