1. It does look like the pictures. The penthouse private pools are very nice. 2. The kitchenette was functional.

1. It's not in a very good location - in the middle of the jungle but annoyingly surrounded by construction, so not peaceful at all. Feels a little unsafe walking the unlit roads at night. 2. The roads around it are terrible (almost undrivable) and there is no included safe parking - it's just a patch of dirt out front. 3. The communication from staff was very poor. They told us that they would need to enter our apartment to clean the pool between 11-5pm on Friday, which was fine, but only at 1:30pm that day did they say they needed us to leave our key for them to be able to clean it and that, if we did not, there would be a penalty fee. We had already left for the day and so had to change our plans to come back to the hotel to give them the key. What kind of hotel doesn't have a room key if they need to conduct maintenance or cleaning?? 4. The vibe is weird. It was basically deserted for most of our stay and the staff were not very friendly. There is a small cafe on site but we never saw anyone there. 5. The shared "laguna" pools are much smaller than they look on the photos and were always full of leaves. We didn't spend any time there. 6. The water pressure was terrible - very weak in the shower and lots of air bubbles in the pipe in the kitchen, meaning that it would splutter hot water at you. 7. They make you sign a document at the start of your stay with the cost of all the items in the apartment which makes you feel like a criminal. They charged us to replace a dirty towel they said was stained before they even tried to wash it. 8. The building/facilities are not a display of great workmanship. Our TV bracket looked like it was pulling out of the wall... 9. Everything just felt a little incomplete. They gave us shampoo, but not conditioner. Pepper, but not salt. Hand, face and bath towels, but no bath mat.

These units and handled like Airbnb rooms instead of a hotel stay. They only clean them every 4 days and you’re stuck with the same towels for that time period. They give you basic hand soap but no shampoo or anything for a shower. This place also charges you for absolutely everything. There’s a 4 page list of items when you check in, everything from toilet paper, to the jug of water on the counter all costs money to use. We had some dishes stacked in the back of our kitchen that were chipped, didn’t see them until the end of the trip. They made sure to charge us for them even though they were broken when we got our room. So if you do stay here check absolutely everything in your room for damage when you arrive, otherwise they’ll bill you for it. Locations also horrible for this hotel. It’s in the middle of nowhere down very rough. Bumpy roads and has construction going on around it at all hours of the day/night. The pool is also very dirty, not what it looks like in the pictures

We have a lot to say about Central Park Lagunas as we extended our stay twice: -The property was beautiful and modern in a good area with a few nice restaurants and bars close by. Only a few small shops for food so large grocery shopping would require a car or taxi. -The room itself was lovely and had all the necessary kitchen ware for a short-term stay. The bed was super comfy and great black out blinds and TV with Netflix etc. -Loved that it had a gym and a bar on-site (however quite pricey drinks and the gym only has very heavy weights and none below 20kg so not really suitable for a lot of people). -Some of the staff were really lovely, the bar man and curly blonde haired lady at reception. thank you! -Very reasonable price

-Pools dirty -No hot water -roads around the property dangerous to drive a bike or a scooter -Had to pay a €300 deposit on arrival through booking which we were not notified about which was slightly ridiculous. We didn’t have to pay this when we went through air bnb. -No privacy on the swim up room we had and a pool maintenance man that continued to do his daily attempts of cleaning the pool from standing on our terrace balcony or directly opposite to keep staring in the room.

Light,modern,clean,nice room with private pool and garden. Great staff with chilled atmosphere .

Should be able to buy drinking water at hotel as it is a long walk or 300pesos to nearest big supermarket each way... We hired .oped which makes sense as way out from beach
