Beautiful views, peaceful location.

A brilliant location for travelling to the Talking tarn with a view of the tarn from the cottage. Staff were very friendly, helpful and assisted us with any requests we had. Perfect stay for our family of 4 and dog. The cottage was very spacious. We will be back most definitely

Very cosy

The property was lovely so cosy but spacious had all the amenities you need plus some lovely extras such as chocolates and Prosecco. The log fire was lit on our arrival which was a lovely touch , hosts were welcoming and friendly. The property is close to lots of walks and places to go out to eat. If you want to stay in and cook for yourself there is everything you need to do so. It felt like a home away from home in a peaceful setting would recommend would definitely Stay again :)

Simplicity of cottage life. Cosy decor and log fire

It was very quiet comfortable and relaxing and the log burner is a lovely addition with plenty of logs included and also extremely reasonable to purchase extra logs if needed

It was very cold on our first night, probably the cottage was vacant before we arrived and the heating turned off, the heating could have been started a bit earlier because they were night storage heaters. The toilet needs sorting out, it doesn’t flush very easily.
