Central Mezzanine Apartment in Historic School

L'appartamento è carino e la posizione, vicina al centro è ottima

L'appartamento ha una buona posizione vicino al centro. Ad una prima occhiata è gradevole e luminoso, ma a viverci ha qualche aspetto migliorabile. Le vetrate apribili verso il cortiletto interno non avendo tende ( come invece ci sono nelle altre finestre lato strada) mandano luce intensa dalle prime ore del mattina svegliando chi dorme al primo piano e anche chi sta di sotto nel divano letto. Il pavimento in finto legno è molto scricchiolante e di notte chi va in bagno sveglia tutti. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo notato subito che l'ambiente non era stato pulito, né in terra né sul tavolo pieno di briciole e di macchie. All'ingresso manca un tappeto per pulirsi dalla pioggia (frequente), mancano attaccapanni e appoggi per zaini. Alcuni interruttori non accendono faretti alle pareti. La presa per ricaricare i cellulari è malfunzionante. In cucina mancano asciugamani e spugne e detersivi per la pulizia quotidiana. Anche vicino al lavello servirebbe un tappetino in terra. Le sedie intorno al tavolo sono dondolanti e non stabili. Altre nuove trovate nel ripostiglio, sono molto leggere e basse. Nel ripostiglio c'è molto caos e sporco, manca una scopa e una paletta ( per non prendere aspirapolvere dal groviglio di cose ). Nei due bagni , senza finestre l'aerazione forzata non funzione. Il tappo della vasca non è idoneo . Gli asciugamani per il viso erano insufficienti per 3 persone. Il piumino del divano letto ha un copripiumino pulito ma sotto c'è una federa non rimovibile molto sporca. Nel complesso quindi le carenze erano tante , ma con un po' di buona volontà si potrebbero colmare, per i prossimi ospiti. Già alcune recensioni passate rivelavano carenze igieniche, speravo fossero state rimosse. Invece la situazione è stata peggiore del previsto. Penso che il gestore di questo appartamento potrebbe fare di meglio se vuole avere ancora ospiti fuduciosi

Location was great. That’s it!!!!

Everything. The first thing that hits you when you open the front door is the putrid smell. It permeates throughout the property and when we left it had infiltrated all of my clothes which then needed washing. It’s a smell of dirt, mould and damp. Extremely unpleasant. The place has dirt on the floors, the bathroom has mould on the grout, mould in the kitchen and even on the shower curtain. The bed sheets had stains on them. The washing machine was filled with water when we arrived and when I reported it and was told the landlord was aware of it and had bought a new one. Which I don’t believe. There is nowhere comfortable to sit in the lounge room - there is no way that “sofa bed” can be sat on never mind slept in. The dining chairs do not match, are very cheap and one chair is broken. The freezer was fully iced up and had not been defrosted in a long time. There was no TV. There was no toaster. The outside area was unusable as there was no outdoor furniture, filled with weeds and had a traffic cone plonked in the middle. There are no window coverings on the huge windows so in the summer the daylight wakes you at 4.15am. The window also looks directly into the bathroom so there is no privacy either. The mattress and pillows are extremely cheap and uncomfortable. The noise from the property upstairs kept me awake for just about every one of the 5 nights I had the misfortune to stay there. Overall it is the WORST property I have ever stayed in.

Great location.

I don't like posting negative reviews, but the property seemed a bit neglected, a neglect that was reflected in the service we received. The lock box was not "across" from the property, but off to one side under a tree/bush that was not featured in the instructions photo. When we had trouble finding the lockbox, the contact (owner?) was exceedingly impatient. Then he promised to check with the cleaners about some things we left in a drawer (a cousin was going to pick them up for us), but after receiving repeated promises to "get on that," but no further communication, we had to give up.

The accomodation was in a great location and had a really cool historic charm, we loved it here. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The only downsides were that we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy more ourselves, and the bin bags provided were quite small and flimsy.

The apartment had everything we needed and was in the perfect location.

El apartamento está bien situado, es amplio y tiene mucho encanto ya que era un antiguo colegio. El salón tiene doble altura, como aparece en las fotos y hay un antiguo piano.

Le falta mantenimiento. La cocina es antigua y tiene poco menaje. El sofá cama no es muy cómodo y el baño es muy antiguo. Deben hacer una reforma para dar un servicio adecuado al precio que cobran.
