"Quiet, secluded and peaceful"

The farm is quiet and secluded. Lovely view of the dam from the balcony. Large kitchen and dinning area. The linen was fresh and clean.

The ‘no appliances’ rule made the stay challenging as we had an infant child with us. The one bed had a very old broken base making the bed uncomfortable. The patio is narrow so we were not really able to sit outside and enjoy the view.

"Idyllic country getaway"

The house is spacious, and very well equipped for self-catering. The friendly, efficient service of the groundskeeper and housekeeper was a bonus. We had a wonderful, truly relaxing stay! The view from the porch and the two Easternmost bedrooms is incomparable...an absolutely idyllic picture by day and by night!

We had hoped to be able to walk/hike in our surroundings, which was unfortunately not possible. However there are plenty of hiking opportunities not far from the property.

Beautiful family homes with a lovely view of the dam and mountains. Fire places are wonderful and nice, big braai areas. The kitchen is well stocked and the staff are extremely helpful. Very clean and homely. We loved our stay! And so did our dog :)
