Glen Aden

Aden house is spectacular - we loved every second spent there. Have no idea why anyone would complain about hairdryers or any of the other 'complaints', honestly if you want peace and quiet and magnificent skies/views, this is the place to be. There are no other houses in sight of Aden house, it's private and extremely well-kitted out.

Didn't like that we had to leave! Could have stayed there for another year, easily.

Surroundings

Not maintained, not as advertised. Oven, fridges etc only suitable for small groups and short stays. Not ready on arrival, no water on arrival. I suggest the owners spend some time staying at the property themselves to see how neglected it is. Clearly they haven’t been there for a long time!!

The bar

Fishing and access from main road very poor. Booking.com did not tell owner about booking - fault in system

Uniques getaway, quiet and tranquil

Little TLC needed, upstairs walking on the wooden floor sounds through the complete house

Beautiful views with a very rustic feel - very comfortable.

I think the accommodation could be a bit cleaner, paying more attention to the bedrooms and bedding. The blankets and carpets felt a little dusty.

What's there not to like an amazing place .

No power. No water pressure. No security at all.
