It would have been beneficial to have known at the time of booking or perusing the booking that this venue uses solar power, as opposed to only finding out the day before we arrived and would most definitely have been a factor we would have considered before booking. This negatively impacted our entire stay, on the coldest weekend so far this winter we were not allowed to use hairdryers due to venue using solar power, the rooms do not get heated up sufficiently by the fire place and the bigger house also ran out of electricity on two evenings - this was the house the youngsters stayed in and they stayed up late playing games - what you expect to be able to do on holiday - and they ran out of electricity - which in our country environment can be very very scary - emergency load shedding lights should be easily and readily available. The smaller house was not properly cleaned - the loft room was not serviced at all, cleaning staff should check or should be made aware that there were six people sleeping in the house. Overall not our best stay in Dullstroom

The bath flooded the room, no fish in the dam (this property was booked due to the fishing facilities), no one was there to assist and show around and the tv did not work

Great location and farm.

No hot water for shower. Spider infestation on stoep - 100's of them. Overgrown lower dam. No microwave as advertised.

View was amazing! Loved the area. Lovely housekeeper and Maintenance guy that assisted with the generator.

Facilities in the house need ASAP TLC. Broken fridge door. Shower door not closing properly. Bee nest in chimney (?) bees in the house. Unable to use hairdryers without starting the generator.
