Location was great and the apartment was beautiful.

We had problems accessing the apartment as someone from another apartment had removed the access fob from the lock box (luckily another resident let us in). There was no additional bedding for the sofa bed (luckily it was warm enough to sleep without a blanket).

Shower is a bit crap Bed is as hard as a rock! Entry relies on other guests having the braincells to leave the entry fob in the box before entering the building They did not It meant me standing outside for twenty minutes waiting for someone to either arrive from the company or another guest just happening to leave Not great

Apartment 1A is in a great location, right in the centre of town, near all the amenities and close to the tram lines. In terms of the apartment itself, the bedroom is small, but beautifully appointed and while the bed is a bit creaky, it is very comfortable. The bathroom is great. Again, small and compact but the shower pressure is fantastic, plus shower gel and shampoo is provided.The lounge is compact, but it has everything you need for a short stay. Since we were visiting from the Bahamas at Christmas, effective heating was important to us, and that did not disappoint. The entire apartment was warm and cozy.

As far as areas of improvement, my hubby and I had difficulty entering the building when we first arrived. Also the lock on the front door was a little loose and took a few tries to open. The door knobs inside the apartment were really stiff too. The curtains in the lounge were missing hooks and were hard to open and close and the sofa cover could do with some TLC. The remote for the T.V. did not seem to be working properly. It would also be good to have more kitchen items. For example, there were only two forks, one of which was bent and a few more teaspoons would be helpful. A tea towel would be an asset too. Given that this is listed as a luxury apartment, the areas of improvement I am suggesting are easy fixes, especially with reference to the curtains, given the impact of first impressions.
