Urban Retreat Basement Studio Only Two Blocks From Metro! OFF STREET PARKING!

Property was clean and location was close to Metro.

That the front door was wide open upon arrival and that there was a smell of marijuana once arrived and while during our stay. With it being a basement unit, I would presume the residents upstairs were smoking marijuana as the smell at times was very potent.

I really like the proximity to the metro station. Excellent connection to downtown and all important sites to see. I also liked the fact that the owner allowed me to use parking spot even though it was not part of the arrangements.

This is was not the prime neighborhood, The only sit-down restaurant we found was Denny's.

The property was very clean and amenable. Check-in was easy and seamless. The owner communicated in a clear and timely manner.

It was quiet and clean. Close to a subway station.

The shower water was luke warm at best. We messaged the owner and he said they'd look at it, but from what we can tell, never did.

The location is great because its close to the metro and you have a car port to park your own car

It's only one room, in contrast to what is advertised and very noisy because the air-conditioning of the whole building is next to your bed! Moreover, it only has one bed and a air mattress instead of two extra beds.

Very clean and close to the Metro, making it easy to get into the city Staff was so helpful and answered any messages right away

Steep outside stairs to get to the basement apartment. Limited sidewalk, so have to carry wheelie bags to stairs

Basement apartment - very quiet, can focus to relax not disturbed by the street noise normally associated with above-ground accommodation. Parking was easy (reverse up) or head in and reverse out. Location - close drive to the major attractions

The basement apartment door entrance has some flies lingering. We are unsure how to get rid of them, as they might get into the apartment if/when you open the door to get in/out. Parking space is slightly steep, my rental Honda CRV was weak reverse up and needed a longer run on the flat before it could reverse up the parking space. Fridge - Good for drinks and snacks, no good for vegetables or meat.
