Urban Retreat Basement Studio Only Two Blocks From Metro! OFF STREET PARKING!

Very clean and easy access to the subway! Great communication from the owners!

There was no shampoo, but that was a minor inconvenience.

good wifi signal. good ac. amenities were available. basically quiet neighborhood. water pressure was great. 5-10 minutes to the metro station.

bed bugs. ac could not be controlled manually. cellar "room/apartment". it has no natural lighting. cockroaches. pillows were to soft/small.

Location wasn’t ideal, as a solo female traveler I wasn’t sure about walking at night in the neighborhood, but it’s ok if you drive a car or take Uber, overall it was a good value for money, way cheaper than in the city

the accommodation has good space and the services I expected, I was able to use the appliances without problems very well.

the accommodation is in the basement of a house, the entrance is narrow to go down and up the stairs, difficult to get in the suitcases. the entrance is full of water because of the rains, and there was presence of flies and mosquitoes in the accommodation.

Nice basement apartment with everything you need. Comfortable walk to the metro and a good parking spot.

Unfortunately the main AC for the whole house is located in a cupboard in the apartment. That is very very loud sometimes at night.

Very cozy and private property; well- lit, loved the motion lights and private entrance. Extremely comfortable bedding with more than enough luxurious towels comparable with higher hotels. Washer and dryer a plus. We were able to navigate smoothly throughout DC due to close location of metro station. Also good location for daily walking exercise; no excessive noise like barking dogs.

Very close the subway station. The accommodation was very clean, everything was new, and the host was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place.
