Casa Cardennal

Jacob was our host and was the best part of our stay. He was super friendly and helpful, even going so far as to buy food and drinks for us when we were ill. The room itself was comfortable and beautifully decorated (not something I normally pay attention to, but this place stood out). It also came with two fans, one with a mist function, making it easier to cool down on hot days. Street outside was busy but the double glazed windows reduced any noise, so we slept soundly. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment, so easy to make your own meals. Location is a few minutes from the centre, if that. Really recommend this property if you are looking to stay in San Miguel de Allende.

Hot water in the shower would run out quite quickly, but they did provide shower gel, shampoo and conditioner which was very helpful.

Room was clean, and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and practical. Lots of plugging area around the room. Location was a 10-15 mins walk to the centre.

I wish the host would refill my water daily or provide an option to where I could get more water. They gave me 2 small bottles upon arrival, but never refilled for the rest of my 3 nights with them.

Beautiful and cute decoration, super clean, in the historic centre 5 mins walk from the main square. Jacob super friendly and helpful. Late check out allowed for our evening bus out of SMA. Many thanks!
