Comfortable bed, nicely furnished, excellent location

Very noisy as facing a busy street, tiny space with initially only one chair. Despite booking bigger flat, they changed my booking to smaller space.

Amazing location, safe and quiet (not a common thing in city centers of Mexico!), but close to everything. Lovely inner courtyard, nicely decorated rooms, little signs of welcome (like water and Coke in the fridge) and a host eager to help.

Showering. Water pressure is quite weak, adjusting to hot water was tricky and boiler doesn't seem to have enough capacity of hot water for one long shower (you have to turn the shower off and wait 2-3 minutes before it fills up). Also, there is a little window in the shower than could not be closed, so it was also somewhat cold (in early January).

One of the most beautiful spots of San Miguel! Amazing location as well as the room. In addition to this, the staff of the hotel are so kind. I’m truly grateful for the way they treated me. It was Magic! I will return soon. Many thanks to all.

location is great, the owners were very friendly and accommodating. I travelled in days with cold nights, they gave me a heater and extra blankets. very safe and close to the center. thank you!

everything was great! the only recommendation I would give is the curtain is missing on the window and it gets very bright when the outside light is turned on.

Lack of enough hot water

The instructions were clear, and the room was well prepared

This was my second stay. The first time I slept only on the futon which was both big and comfortable. The room in which we stayed this time had a smaller futon, but it was still okay. The bed, however, was very difficult to sleep on due to the sagging mattress.

Casa Cardennal was perfect, the location was great, a few minutes walk to the zocalo. The room was spacious and had everything one could want whilst there and the patio was a lovely and welcome addition. We had a slight issue with the lock on the door and Jacabo arrived first thing in the morning to install a new lock - he could not have been more helpful and in addition to that, his English is perfect! We will definitely be staying there again - thank you Jacabo for making our time in San Miguel de Allende such a pleasure!
