the location was perfect for our purpose of travel, the bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately our shower was broken and we couldn’t shower and there was no hot water in the room.

The bedding was clean.

It was such a terrible experience. The host knew the time that I will be coming and did not provide me with any information how to get into property. I waited for 15minutes outside to receive the lockbox code. I had a meeting scheduled and because of this delay from the host, I was late to it. When I entered the premises I was greeted by the strong smell of cannabis smoke that was piercing through ground and first floor. My room smelled of cigarette smoke and the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. The bedside table and TV table were dusty and dirty. The window blinds were dirty, the bathroom was filthy!!! Toilet and shower chrome were not cleaned at all . The worst thing was that the pillows smelled of the cigarette smoke. It was so disgusting and strong smell that I wasn’t able to sleep, even with the open window the smell was unbearable. I let the host know about all the issues but received no response apart from that he asked me to remove the bag covering the smoke detector. The drawers were broken.The pressure in the shower was ridiculous! It was impossible to close the toilet doors as the toilet itself is too close and there is no space for the legs. The bins in the room was dirty and has cigarette buds at the bottom. Overall this was a terrible stay. See the pictures attached.

Who ever is cleaning the property is doing a really bad job

The property's exterior door would not lock, either from the inside or outside totally compromising the security of the building. The entrance stank of marijuana. You could not sit on the toilet and close the bathroom door. It was on the 3rd floor, no lift, and a grubby staircase. The property was generally in disrepair. The ‘studio/apartment boasted a view over a courtyard, no such view, but the courtyard on the other side of the building had knee high grass. The carpet was worn and dirty. Apart from a sink, microwave and kettle the rest of the facilities, such as the advertised kitchen, washing machine were all communal, 2 floors down. There was nowhere to sit and eat, not even communally, or to just sit ( the ad boasts a sofa bed as well as a double bed). The bed was pushed up hard against a wall, making accessibility very difficult. If you want a super expensive hostel room, then book here. We didn’t stay and we are asking for a full refund.
