Oxclose studios

The property was 10 minutes from my work location. Could be a decent place if a bit more care was taken. Seems a bit neglected, photos are not a true representation of the condition of the rooms now.

The mattress was really worn. Hairs in the tea towel and shower. Broken furniture and blinds. Water pressure was poor in the shower. The shower did not warm up properly and was just about usable.

Bed linen extremely dirty with lots of stains, we had to borrow clean sheets to replace the ones we found, mattrass dirty with red stains, dirt and dust everywhere, wasn’t hoovered at all, hair in the kitchen and shower, a sock on the floor, a hairpin on the floor, wardrobe and bedside table doors and shelves damaged, main entrance door couldn’t be closed so the property was open during the night; the main entrance wasn’t mown; the pics don’t show the real and present state of the property but as it was when new

Not enough preparation was made to ensure guests were welcome and comfortable; eg: TV had no Aerial so didn't work; Microwave had an EU plug so wouldn't connect to UK plug; there was no toilet paper; the sink didn't have a plug; there was only one coffee cup for two people.

Tv did not work. Headboard on floor behind bed. Drawers missing handles. Blind tatty and cheap For the price you would have expected tv to work.

Location

Felt like student digs, wrong room allocated with wrong keys. Said had good tv, did not turn on. No reaction to sort it. Place was grubby. They need to improve standards

Dirty, mess on the floor, hasn’t been hooverer, cuboards and walls dirty, heating doesn’t work, blinds were broken, windows dirty etc
