"Classy guesthouse in central Ballater serving great food."

Central location in lovely village, yet quiet at night. Large, spotless and characterful room. Considerate, interesting and very knowledgable owners. Superb breakfast.

Nothing. Just a little bit pricey for the solo traveller.

"Is more than exceeded our expectations."

The breakfast was amazing. The location was so central. Our host couldn't do enough to ensure that we had everything we needed. Ballater is such a beautiful village, my daughter and I would come back in a heartbeat.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.

The guest house has a lovely feel that I’m sure tourists to the area will be very appreciative of. It’s tartan and shortbread, well mums cake anyway which was magnificent!

I’m 6’5” and I struggled with the attic roof in the bathroom. 1st world problem having shave but it shouldn’t put anyone off
