Everything about my stay at the Beaches was delightful. I've been staying in Ayr for work for awhile and have sampled quite a few of the local accommodations, this is by far the most pleasant. The bed was super comfy and the breakfast absolutely 5 star. The host was warm and welcoming and it was a pleasure talking with them. It was also the little things that made my stay so enjoyable. Fresh milk in the rooms fridge, filter coffee and homemade shortbread were all very much appreciated after a busy day. I could go on and on but will end this very long review for me by saying the Beaches will be remembered by me very fondly.

Staff were amazing,family business and very caring Breakfast choices were exceptional, well presented and delicious! There was even home made shortbread and jams for us to enjoy. Every need was looked after!

It was mentioned when we booked so we did have knowledge about it but low bathroom ceiling was an issue for my tall husband!

"Warm welcome, lovely hotel and terrific breakfast!"

The location was within walking distance (15 minutes) of the train station and about 10 minutes from a bus stop. The room was spacious, comfortable and lovely with an ocean view. Jan’s breakfasts and homemade shortbread are simply amazing!

I’m allergic to cigarette smoke and thought I detected it at times in the entrance hall.

Home from home. Great banter with Jan. Excellent breakfast with homemade jams, also tin of homemade shortbread in room. Great location and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nothing to dislike here.
