The rooms were comfy and there were good facilities in the shared bathroom and kitchen. The instructions on how to self-check in were very clear.

I received a message two days before arriving informing me that I had to pay a £100 cash deposit. Although in the end nobody showed up to collect this, it had not been mentioned in the booking information and I was left feeling uneasy as there would have been no guarantee of getting this money back.

Up 3 flights of tight, bending stairs that I was unprepared for being 67 and with COPD.

Good location

The Wi-Fi network was a disaster, too slow, and I had a problem with the security of my Google account when I connected to it. The day I checked in, on the second level of the house, there was a smell of marijuana coming from a room. I didn't mention it at the time because I'm a foreigner and I didn't want to have any problems with anyone. But I didn't feel safe in the place, although nothing happened. The rest of things were fine, the kitchen was well equipped and clean, the bathroom as well.
