Ngaire is a friendly host who was very accommodating as we had to make a change to our stay. The cottage had a very comfortable bed, shower with excellent hot water and pressure. There was a lovely elevated view of the creek and Bush from the kitchenette area.

Unfortunately the riverside cottage we thought we booked was different from the cottage we received. Ngaire has 2 cottages and even though she has provided booking.com with photos of the 2nd cottage we only saw photos of the riverside boutique cottage with the outdoor glass shower. However when we arrived we found we were actually staying in the elevated rustic roadside cottage, which does not have the shower in the Bush (instead the showers inside the cottage but does have glass to look through to outside via the kitchenette windows)

The view was very nice from the cabin, the bed was comfy and clean. I loved the windowed shower.

We expected it to be more like the photos, so with a table, some more space, and a place outside to sit. Reading the other reviews, I assume there are 2 places you can book, but I don't see this option in the app and it is not clear from the pictures. Based on the pictures, we also assumed it would be more in nature, but it is situated directly next to a big road and you can hear the cars racing past. Even though our expectations were different, the place was still cute and furnished with attention for detail. The self check-in was easy and Ngarie was helpful with fixing issues with the key.

We LOVED everything! You couldn't ask for a more tranquil setting. The chalet is well set up for self catering. Every attention to detail, right down to the condiments in the cupboard. I really didn't want to leave, but I've booked for this year (Xmas hols) already!!

bitten by bugs in kitchen part from under the floor- maybe lino covering the floor wouldmake the kitchen better as no more bugs biting feet!

Such an awesome private wee spot hubby and I love the place we will be back again one day! Had everything we needed incl and umbrella as it did pour down at night time although this didnt fase us the hole place was so stunning and peaceful ,dont evan get me started on the shower super unique just perefct for what we wanted Thankyou hosts!
