The location is excellent, Nozawaonsen is small enough to walk from anywhere, but getting into the Oyu-road-travellator was a breeze. We literally rented gear from the Lodge so we just picked up our stuff from the Rental space right besides the lobby, grabbed breakfast, and walked up the mountain in no time!

There is nothing that could have been better on Lodge Ueno's side, we just wished we knew more Japanese to get to know the owner better, he seems like a really nice person.
