Ueno is the loveliest guy! His property is amazing. Really comfortable. Super warm (heater in room). The whole place is so nice and exactly what you need! A really nice onsen right next to the lodge after a long day on the mountains.

Convenient and good size room

Noisy and could hear all the other guests walking along the corridor and cleaning their teeth. And flushing the toilet. Wish the hot tub was open earlier

The location was convenient. Not far from the main road and half way to the Nagasaki Gondola and Rental Shops. It is also next door to one of the free/public Onsen (hot spring bath house).

No heating in our room.

It was a traditional Japanese room and very cozy! The location was also nice and you can easily walk to the ski resort. I recommend renting skis from Thanx, as you get a discount for staying at this hotel! The bathroom was shared, but the washroom was neat and had a little onsen as well. Everyone was super friendly

If you have a bad back I wouldn't recommend staying here, as the futon on the tatami mat wasn't the most comfortable in the world, especially if you're used to a bed.
