Windsor Residence

One of the best experience since I travelling with my wife around Sri-Lanka. Very interesting interior, top level of service and caring hosts. The hotel is a family business and it is pleasant to be in such an atmosphere.

Excellent shower. Large comfortable room. Good English spoken and very helpful with advice. Decent Sri Lankan breakfast. Fairly central and very peaceful. Very comfortable bed.

WiFi weak on the first floor.

The price of dinner was too expensive. We ordered fried rice 10 potions & kottu 10postions but the hotel charged me 12 & 12, 24 potions without any notice. It made me in trouble.

My stay at Windsor Residence Nuwara Eliya became so amazing. I travelled with my Family and I truly found this property as one of the Best in Sri Lanka. Super comfortable Beds, really nice Bathrooms, Hot Water, TV Connections, Internet facilities etc. made us so relaxing and happy. The young energetic team of Staff members (including the Owner) really took care of all of the Guests and they managed to pay individual attention to everyone who stayed in this Hotel. The Breakfast is also really nice and tasty. We liked the parking facilities and the open garden areas too. The Hotel is Pet Friendly as well. I wish all the very best to the Hotel team. You guys are really wonderful. We will visit again when we are back in Sri Lanka Next Year.

The owner is one of the friendliest people I met in Sri Lanka. He was very welcoming, even messaging me the day of my arrival in the morning to introduce himself and help to arrange a tuk tuk from the nearby train station. The rooms were large and very clean and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and food surged, I had both the Sri Lankan and western breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend staying here!

Thushara, our host, was simply excelent! Service, advise and recomendations for visiting tea plantations....everything just perfect. Our room was generous, clean and comfortable. Food fresh and tasty. Best accommodation we had during our 3 weeks at Sri Lanka.
