Bon Maison Guest House

Location is great, peacful, comfortable. Typical older property and very original right on Bourbon Street. Far enough away to not be disturbed by bars and crowds for the most part.

Only complaint would be that the internet is not even usable, some modernization in the shower would be nice, but not terrible. Bur for the price and the locaiton it was very acceptable.

Great location at the end of bourbon - - close enough to everything and far enough away to be discrete. - self checkin was simple an auto lock box - very cost effective and just enough in the compact kitchenette to have a snack and a hot drink before heading out for the day . Ideal for Frenchmen street music scene. Great quick responses from the team

The property needs some updating in the bathroom area & the WiFi had some performance issues - just catching up on the news saw some buffering - Netflix worked ok - some occasional traffic noise and street cleaners through the early hours - but nothing to be concerned about

Location is fantastic, on the quieter side of Burbon street so easy to walk everywhere.

Unfortunately property was dirty and in need of basic maintenance. Carpets haven't been hoovered, lots of dust everywhere, lots of dirt and old socks under the beds, some of the lights not working, 2 out of 3 rooms didn't have a main light just small bedside lamps. Bad stains on carpets, which we had to roll up as it was very unpleasant to walk on them. Glass window in one of the bedrooms was broken and boarded and covered with black paper. Main door not closing properly and only a very small lock so property didn't feel completely secure. It is a shame really as property is really beautiful with lots of original features, spacious and in fantastic location but just need some love and care. Also no luggage storage.

Great location on Bourbon Street. Spacious lounge, and access to narrow balcony to watch the world go by. Beautiful bathroom, unfortunately no lock on the door.

Spiral staircase to access 3rd floor was hard work with luggage. Tiny kitchen had limited equipment for cooking. Boarded up window and no air con in the small bedroom. The main bedroom had no door…

Love the place and the people who manage the place were great. Prompt response everytime I had a question. The area is definitely in a cool spot very interesting and colorful. Right on the corner is a 24hr diner with great food. Overall, I'd definitely stay again when I'm back out that way.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒕

The location was excellent.we were in the area for 10 nights and I have a disability so wanted to be in the heart of the french quarter for ease. When there were issues the host was quick at getting back via message. The first room we were in was very spacious.

The first room we were in B smelled damp and mould was growing around the bed on walls, bedframe/headboard and wall. It was also filthy and had started to clean the floors and mould in the shower, which was when I discovered the mould by the bed. When I complained we were quickly moved to another room, which was more compact but slightly cleaner except floors, which were still filthy. . The bed we noticed had a huge dip in the middle, which made it uncomfortable some nights as well as the very loud air conditioner. The host had not changed it in the system that we had changed rooms so other guests who were booked into the room we switched to, nearly walked in on us. We also had a few cockroaches which I think were stunned by some form of insect repellent the host had installed, but wasn't fun to deal with .

Amazing location and the old building was interesting

No real complaints other than the doors are super loud when you open and close them. Not a problem until 3:00am when everyone is sleeping
