"Superb"

Absolutely lovely place and beautifully maintained home. It has something for everyone, whether you are an outdoorsy person or you like to stay inside and play board games. Sally is quick to respond. Loved the fireplace.

We only had one functioning shower with hot water, because the others were broken at the time of our visit.

"Exceptional"

Stunning location and great value for money. Rooms are a really good size and the cottage has everything you need. The garden is huge and my daughter had great fun playing in it.

"Nice cottage in great quiet location"

Great location, semi rural 25 minutes to Edinburgh city centre

Only one issue was the garden which did have some holes in the fence that the dog got out of and another unknown dog got in.

The cottage was compact, easy to keep tidy. All enclosed and private. Dog was very happy in garden. Views and walks near by were great. Easy travelling to surrounding areas.

"A beautiful and peaceful escape"

We stayed in Plum Cottage. The gardens were beautiful, and the views from the cottage were exceptional. Peaceful and the perfect place to relax. The tennis court was great, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it.

"Peaceful cottage stay for family of 3"

Good value compared to other options in the area. Location was perfect for our needs as friends live nearby and shops/restaurants arent too far. It is very peaceful here and good access for walks/runs along the river. Will consider staying here again. Cot for our toddler was appreciated.

Bed was a little soft. Kitchen generally well equipped but cheese grater would have been handy. Couldn't find the Wifi code during our stay.

What an amazing place to stay, beautiful countryside, the cottages are clean, tidy and very homely. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Cannot recommend highly enough

"Beautiful cosy little retreat"

The cottage was so cute and cosy. The beds were very comfortable too. The Garden was big and secure for the dogs. And the tennis court was a lovely treat! Very nice little place in a great location.

We liked everything! The only suggestions I have it that the sofa wasn't big enough for 4, so one of us had to sit at the table to watch tv. And there could have been a few more glasses and plates etc. Other than that we loved it and would definitely return
