Kyoto Villa Chiyotsuru

Loads of space, washing machines and full kitchen, bikes that can be rented, autonomous check in. Hosts were communicative and welcoming.

The location is fine if you either rent the bikes or use public transport. The latter can be a little bit confusing in Kyoto, but it's doable!

Location is very convenient for a stay in Kyoto. Host was helpful and caring. They provide A LOT of materials about Kyoto - huge map, books, prospects. It's super helpful for planning your trips in and around Kyoto.

Good location close to the subway station, convenience stores and restaurants. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese living experience, you will like this accommodation.

Rather small for 5 adults, not much room for 5 large pieces of luggage. The two rooms are separated by a sliding wall, so there is little privacy.

Lovely decorated Japanse style appartement/house centrally located near to train/subway en bus stops en lots of convenient stores. Will definitely come back on next stay in Kyoto.

The house itself is super charming being a traditional Japanese house but aside from that the location is great, really close to train/bus stations to go see all the cities most known sightseeing spots! The host speaks English and was very nice and helpful, setting me up with the information on where to go to reach different destinations. The dining room has a big map where you can easily plan your excursions as it has markers for the attractions already on it.

Loved the space, the giant map, and the classic Japanese style. Easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. The in unit coin washer and dryer were very convenient.

The stairs up to the sleeping area were very steep, and the top of the stairs railing was loose/detached. Otherwise great!
