"Not worth the money you spend."

No breakfast. Location is fantastic. Rooms are very small.

Check out and check in time is horrible. Tourist with luggage please don't go to this property.

"Fabulous place to stay ina quiet location along the Philosipher’s Path."

Clean property, very convenient to the Gion region, temples, shires and tourist sites

Didn’t have a dining table and chairs to sit on to have a meal. Had to leave heavy luggage at the entrance which is understandable because of the delicate floors and tatami mats.

"Superb value accommodation in a great location"

Everything! Location - well situated about 10 minutes walk from Gion, but in a quiet side street overlooking a canal. Facilities - truly nothing absent. Welcome - staff from the management came by to explain everything. And the instruction manual for the property covers everything you could conceivably need to know Heating (and so I assume cooling) was exceptionally effective. Plenty of hot water for shower in the wet room and the bath too.

Great view and clean

Lack of customer support. For example, we didn’t have enough blankets and were cold at night. Even though the contract said there is a 24hr front desk that can provide help, there wasn’t. We were literally on our own. We contacted their official LINE account. They replied late and said they couldn’t help. Yes, the house was beautiful but we spent a lot of money and couldn’t sleep well at night.
