The view! And the location.

Nothing. Twist my arm for anything that could be improved then maybe a small table for cups between the armchairs while enjoying the view if it isn’t warm enough to sit outside? Even the trout flies were not a problem.

beautiful lake side views!!! location great with a short drive to the city centre, and the hosts were great with communication and very thoughtful with providing umbrellas, snacks and tips to avoid getting the lake flies in the room. We were also really grateful to have a laundry machine provided washing powder at the end of our trip.

not much!!! I was a bit hesitant to book because of the lake flies mentioned in the other reviews but just follow the host's helpful tips and you won't get them in your room at all. Although there are a lot of cobwebs and spiders outside so we didn't spend much time on the balcony, but I guess if theres no lake flies theres no lake, so worth it for the views!!

Beautiful place with a stunning mountain lake view! The studio was clean, stylish, and the owners even left some yummy local snacks and all essentials for us. The brochure was very useful and informative, especially for the places to visit. Absolutely loved the style this place was decorated in. Thank you!

Few spots in Rotorua will have a view like this without the smell! The house is in a quaint neighbourhood and the studio was very comfortable. Being on the other side of the town, it was easy to head over to the Redwoods and onto the highway. We really enjoyed our stay in Rotorua - lots of activities and pretty amazing food.

Naho-naho (trout flies) - harmless but a little annoying. We followed the host's instructions to avoid letting them in and that seemed to work well.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The studio is very modern and stylish with a fabulous location overlooking the lake. Good location to explore all Rotorua and the area has to offer. Highly recommend

Incredible studio apartment. It was great to have the peace of being a little out of town, but just a short drive to all the major attractions. The studio is beautiful, well stocked kitchenette and great to have a washing machine. The views were incredible… geese on the lake in the morning, sun on the balcony in the afternoon, incredible view of the sunset and then great visibility for stars. If you’re reading this review because the studio is available on your dates, just book it!

The view was stunning. The owner are so friendly to provide cookies and chips. It helps us in the night time.

There are some bugs because it’s near the lake. Good news is they are not-biting bugs. Thanks God, it’s not sandfly. Just looks scary but after a day we are used to with it. It’s harmless.

Great place to stay at the lake, the view is amazing and you find everything you need in the studio. Barbara and Tim welcomed us so warmly and even gave us a ride to town. We really enjoyed our stay.

Good, peaceful location with fabulous views. Highly recommended.
