Normanby Cottage Runswick Bay

Cute little cottage, comfy beds if a bit short and comfy sofa great location for the beach. Well thought out use of space with the folding tables. Kids loved the attic room.

Only 3 bowls, assuming one has been broken, please get an extra one sorted. we had to wait and share at breakfast. No, hot water downstairs not a massive issue we boiled the kettle. Fridge too small, I know its only a small space but a proper sized icebox would be a real bonus.

Location was brilliant. Cottage was in keeping with the place.

No loo brush! For us not having a proper oven - we don’t have a microwave and couldn’t find any instructions about it.

Gorgeous place and super cosy

Location wise, well located for the pub but no views or outside space.

We booked three nights but only stayed two as there was a strong smell of damp

Great little cosy cottage in a excellent location next to the village pub! Even though you have to drop your bags & carry them up an alley way, this isn't a big deal & is all part of the experience of staying in Runswick Bay, which has a great feel & a really friendly vibe!

The kitchen area is very tight, which we expected, but I do think a larger fridge is necessary & maybe possible?

Location lovely and cottage easy to find.

Really it was great but perhaps might be important to stress that the attic rooms are up very steep steps.
