Adequate size and facilities. Lovely location.

Took 24 hours to warm up, was very cold until then. Driveway difficult to access due to snow, when finally ploughed then had to clear more snow to get onto driveway. Damp in bathroom floor. 2 double beds made up for sleeping but as had 2 teenagers needed third bedroom ready. No storage space for guests belongings; why are drawers full of linen when guests need to use them? No space for anything in other bedrooms or anywhere else in the cabin.

Wonderful location in what is clearly a much loved family holiday home. It's 20 minutes drive from the main visitor centre at Thingvellir and 25 minutes from Selfoss and very easy to find. It was a cold few days but the cottage warmed up very quickly and stayed warm. The hot tub was a lovely spot to relax and stargaze. The children stayed in the bunk bed room and loved that there was a small box of toys in there (my youngest slept with the cuddly duck each night). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves and to clean. There was a key for the laundry room so we could get to the hoover. There were lots of blankets for evenings on the sofa and there was plenty of hot water and towels. The beds were comfy and we slept well. There were dishwasher tablets available and washing powder in the laundry room should we have needed it (we didn't but nice to know we could have). The arrival instructions were well communicated, we had no issues with getting in and out of the barrier. The nearby Lake is simply stunning and the children were happiest just skimming stones at the water's edge. Due to the lack of light pollution we got some wonderful photos of the Aurora.

Nothing really, it was perfect. If I'm being picky maybe a small bottle of cooking oil would have been really useful, it was the one thing we didn't buy, on the basis our previous accommodation had plenty.

Una casa excelente, con todas las comodidades, bien situada para visitar la zona del Golden Cercle. Y un plus de bienestar con el 'hot tub' exterior. Relajarse después de una jornada larga fue espectacular!. Los anfitriones siempre accesibles. Gracias!

La cabaña es súper acogedora, tiene todo lo necesario. Una zona muy tranquila y muy bonita. Lo recomiendo.

Good location for Golden Circle activities. Usually quiet. Kitchen well equipped. Approx 400m from lake. Birdlife interesting.

Hot tub had clinched our choice of this accommodation, but it wasn't clean (lots of hair in it) so couldn't use. No storage space for clothes etc and space around beds too narrow to accommodate a suitcase, so we lived out of suitcases in living area. Not good for a full week. Both shower and toilet leaked, not massively, but enough to be unpleasant.
