Birdsong Cottage

Beautiful little cottage, cosy and warm. Great for a little getaway on the Kapiti coast.

I loved my stay at Birdsong Cottage. The cottage had everything I needed and there were lots of extra touches that made it a comfortable and quiet stay. The highlight was the birdsong. Sitting on the porch in the garden watching the birds was a joy.

Beautiful little place. Nice and comfortable and well appointed.

What an excellent place to stay. Location so handy to the township and the expressway. A very comfortable and spacious apartment, with all amenities to a high standard. Loved being able to sit out on the back veranda with my coffee and be able to watch the birdlife. Excellent hosts, I look forward to staying again.

Everything was to a HIGH standard, so nothing to improve on.

The location of this spacious and very comfortable apartment is truly magical. The garden is beautiful and connection with the birdlife is tremendous. Suzan was a lovely host to greet us when arriving, having a lovely conversation about the area and birds, making us feel welcome and at home.

If you decide to eat breakfast outside (highly recommended), watch the mosquitoes.

Susan and Gavin were very welcoming and super helpful. The cottage was beautiful and spotless, it was super comfy, thank you Susan for the treats, and loved the Tui singing this morning.
