Incredible stay in the center of Obidos. Apartment was perfect for our needs. And Rafael was the most helpful host. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

The location and Rafael, the host are both amazing. The host has put a lot of thought into the furnishings and amenities. Rafael was excellent in communicating with us before and during our stay. He made check in and check out very smooth as well. I highly recommend this property.

We cooked our own breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. The house was charming and very comfortable. It is within the castle walls so handy for exploring the medieval city. Our host secured a parking lot outside the walls and drove us through the narrow streets to our stay.

We enjoyed the whole experience.

Love the location! Inside the wall. You're right in the heart of the action. The house is full of nostalgia! Its a full house. 3bedrooms 2baths. Perfect even for just my husband and I. Full kitchen. Everything you need to feel at home in Obidos! Rafael is there for you from the beginning. Hes super nice amd accomodating. We hope to return on day. Dont hesitate for a minute.

We wanted an authentic experience while staying in Obidos and this house was perfect. Rafael was so helpful picking us and our luggage up outside the city wall. You must have a resident permit to park inside and the entry gate is so narrow we would have never made it! The house is so charming and historic, yet updated and comfortable for a family. The location is perfect for exploring Obidos. Rafael provided excellent suggestions for restaurants, sites to enjoy in Obidos, the best nearby beaches and other towns nearby. He is the perfect host and provides you with an experience you won’t forget.

This is a gorgeous traditional house in the heart of Óbidos. Very comfortable rooms and lovely touches - fresh fruit, eggs, ham and cheese for breakfast were a welcome surprise! Only locals can drive in obidos so the owner Rafael met us at an outdoor carpark and drove us (and our bags) to the property which was incredibly helpful and gave us lots of tips on local restaurants and things to do. He also picked us up and dropped us back to our car when we left even though it was early on a Saturday morning. Fabulous hospitality, would highly recommend!

Beautiful traditional Portuguese home, bigger than expected, perfect base for visiting this incredible medieval village, plus easy parking only 7min walk away.

Nothing, it’s not flashy & modern, as originally built in 1700, if that’s what you desire, it may not be for you. If I had to be find something to improve on, perhaps the patio in the lovely garden could do with a jet wash. That is all. It’s a magical place.😎

We loved the patios! And the flowers with bees buzzing and the sunrise.

The location is great. Rafael is amazing. He is very friendly and hospitality. I will stay here again, If I visit Óbidos next time.

From the pick up from Rafael to staying two nights in this charming house and being in the wonderful city to being taken back to our car by Rafael was perfection!

The only thing that would make the house a bit better would be more towel since we had to use a couple of the bath towels to dry the floor after taking a shower. But truly that isn’t even a big deal.
