Pátio da Muralha

The property host was so helpful to us and he was so proud of the home that originally belonged to his grandparents. He had done an exceptional job of renovating it and it was awesome. Great location in Óbidos and the back yard (pictured here) was a beautiful bonus feature. We could have stayed here happily for a month!

The host Rafael who went above and beyond, the location, the space in the house. Would definitely come back some day.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Location within the walls. Spacious house. Genuine Portuguese architecture. Outdoor area. Rafarl was a very friendly and helpful host who met us in the car park and took us and the bags into the walled city. All very easy. Surprise with big fruit bowl of mixed fresh fruit plus milk, eggs, cheese and ham, and cereals.

We really enjoyed staying in Pátio Da Muralha. It was pleasant and everything was spotless. We loved the property, it is well located and a few minutes walk to the castle. Very clean and spacious for a family holiday, on top of that the garden is beautiful. Everything we needed was provided: extra towels, blankets, toilet papers, also, groceries for breakfast. This was our second visit to Óbidos, and this property is the best of the best. We had an amazing time during our stay, and our host Rafael is fantastic. He picked us up at the car park and explained everything we needed to know about the property. He gave us some suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing locations. On our last day of stay, Rafael dropped us off at the bust stop to cath the coach to Lisbon, which was very nice of him. He went above and beyond in every aspect. Thank you, Rafael, for everything you are the best. We will be back for sure. I highly recommend this property.

We love everything.

Everything was terrific, especially Rafael and his hospitality. We especially enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces, and were grateful to have good weather to enjoy them.

Super location within the walls. Our host, Rafael, is super nice and very helpful!

We were warmly welcome by Rafael. He was full of attention and described the house and all you can eat or see around Obidos. The house is exceptional and in the style of this UNESCO heritage village. It has all the facilities and is located within the walls of this medieval village. There is a nice garden where you can sit and relax. It gives you a direct access to the city wall walk!

Charming villa in the heart of the old historic town. Once situated, you could walk to everything, including the Main Street, the castle walls, restaurants, and the like. It was very comfortable for us two couples. we especially enjoyed gathering in their beautiful patio and garden area plus in the comfy living room. Rafael was the most charming host. He picked us up and our bags in the outside parking area and took us within the walls to our villa. He explained everything about the town and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. He was extremely gracious and welcoming, making sure that everything was completely to our satisfaction. He even provided a little breakfast material, such as loaf of bread, eggs, etc. for us to enjoy the next morning. He’s a real gem of a host.

Really nothing. Personal preference is always to have a queen sized bed, but we found that not many places offer this in Europe—mostly double beds.

Lovely apartment right inside the palace walls. The host was fantastic and even left food for us for breakfast. Large apartment with everything that you need. Great to be inside the walls once everyone goes home and you can wander around the area. Highly recommend.
