If you are due to arrive outside of these times, please contact the property in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Check-out by 10:00 Cots are limited and subject to availability - if you have requested either please check with the caretaker prior to traveling to ensure this request can be carried out. Also please note that it will be a travel cot if available. Dogs are allowed at the property on request but please note a cash fee of €40.00 per dog is payable on arrival with a maximum of 2 dogs per stay.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. It was spacious

There were lots of niggles I ended up with a list of 14+ items that needed attention and should have been picked up before we arrived. The site supervisor was not always contactable I would stay at this location again but not this property or with the same site supervisor

"Exceptional"

Dunkerron House was a lovely spacious house. All the rooms had plenty of space, ideal for our 2 families to spread out. We felt at home. There were sufficient cooking facilities for what we needed. Parking was also great. We would stay here again.

The beds were a little uncomfortable.

"Basic Accommodation"

It has a fireplace.

I found this house utterly functional - impersonal and basic. The furniture and soft furnishings are unlovely and uncomfortable. The kitchen is small and basic despite accommodation for 8 people. Upstairs was cold on arrival (December 2023) despite a storm forecast and a specific request for a warm house. The house is situated approx 3km from Kenmare on the main road between Kenmare and Sneem. This busy road doesn't have footpaths until much closer to town. There is no play area evident for children in Dunkerron Woods. We returned home early from this accommodation.

"Lovely house and setting, some maintenance needed"

The setting, in a quiet development with plenty trees and green space, and the location just a few minutes drive from the wonderful town of Kenmare. Warm, spacious and comfortable house with a good set of appliances.

The house needs some attention, specifically interior painting, re-grouting the tiles in the showers, repair/replace the damaged doors on kitchen units, and a deep clean in the kitchen (inc. cooker hood, unit interiors).

"Beautiful House No 22"

Beautiful house. The heating was on when we arrived, as it was very cold outside. The location is just a few minutes by car from Kenmare and is so peaceful. It is a very well equipped house, so spacious. The power showers are a welcome treat.
