The Boathouse

Location awesome, everything else cheap an nasty. No wifi tv didn’t work

We liked the Bath, the deck and the location is very special whilst been in a relatively quieter bit of the harbour

Spiral staircase and lack of instructions for electrical items like the TV

The property is unique, compact, and quirky. The outside decking and viewing area is spectacular.

Everything was good for us.

Position over the sea

Narrow spiral staircase up to bedroom and down to kitchen was a little tricky.

Views are unbeatable. The location is perfect.

The spiral staircase would be difficult for some people. The outside decking/balcony could do with a fresh coat of paint. Could only access 1 channel on the TV.. we only stayed 2 nights so wasn't really a problem but might be an issue if people are staying longer.

It feels like a really special, cosy castle on the water. Being able to listen to the waves in the bath / from bed is so nice.

The bed is small and the bath doesn’t fill fully if you want it hot.

Although the property is in the heart of Whitby the location felt secluded and had an air of remoteness which we loved - great facilities and home from home appliances

We loved everything, had everything you would need. Noting we disliked

Absolutely loved our stay at the boathouse. From the moment we walked in, it was so warm and cosy. Property was clean & tidy. The kitchen had everything we could have needed while we were there. There was even tea, coffee, sugar & milk when we arrived, so we could have a nice cuppa after our journey. It is so lovely to be able to sit out on the decking & look at the harbour. And was so peaceful & quiet on the night. We will definitely be returning if we can get booked in as it's a very popular property

As in some of the other reviews, the kitchen floor is really uneven. Also, a tv would have been nice in the bedroom.
