location was centre of town

not well maintained. shower was leaking, grout in shower was black and damp on ceiling in lounge with large crack in plaster on wall. when shower in use upstairs water was dripping down the walls. also nasty ‘drains’ smell in utility room downstairs. I messaged the host who responded with ‘thanks for letting me know’ with no apology!

"Fab location in the middle of Ambleside"

Fabulous location right in the heart of Ambleside. Really good sized space downstairs. The master bedroom upstairs is really big - the second (twin) room is very small but absolutely fine for sleeping two people in (bearing in mind there is plenty of space in the master bedroom for storing bags etc). The shower was powerful and the wifi signal was good throughout our stay. Lots of info from the hosts pre-arrival - parking is just a couple of minutes walk around the corner.

The beds were slightly on the soft side, but this is really minor - I wouldn't describe them as uncomfortable just a bit soft.
