Chater Cottage Rothbury

Nice and cosy. A well equipped kitchen which we liked. The place was also very clean. Highly recommended.

Had trouble with the WiFi. It was unstable, frequently going off line which in turn interrupted our streaming viewing experience. Owner had switched provider without realising that it would affect us. Bed mattress was too soft to our liking.

The location was central and suites our needs

No toilet at bedroom level Really poor mobile connection so owners really need to tell people that or preferably fit WiFi Too many instructions such as bin emptying, stripping bed at end of stay and just general stuff that id expect the owners to deal with. Cottage wasn't as clean as owners would have you believe. Courtyard was functional but not in a good way
