Comfortable, great location, quiet of a night as it’s away from the main road. Private car parking space, which although tight it’s accessible even with a large car.

I would give it 10/10 if it had a small outside area to sit in. That said it’s close enough to the main town.

Parking - whilst it was good that the property comes with a parking space, it is really only for a small car. We have a medium size car which we just got in, but then a tight squeeze to get past it.

The property was clean, location good

Facilities were nut as I would have expected. Lots of milk in the fridge but no coffee and limited tea. Coffee machine, no pods. You’d normally get a days worth of tea/coffee etc at least but 4 pints of milk???No hairdryer that we could see, dustpan and brush missing for sweeping up. TV was not set up so we struggled for the first half hour trying to get some stations. Radio/speaker available, but no charging cable or batteries. Twin bedroom had no room to move around in and there was only the bathroom and large main bedroom that had a mirror. Could be better, but ok for one night, would be better with double bed in the twin room- give more room to everyone if all rooms full.

A superb location for exploring the Lakes, and a really nicely appointed little house. The kitchen was particularly decent, with a good amount of cooking space; comfortable lounge; decent bedrooms. It's a small bathroom, but more than enough for the space, and an excellent shower; downstairs loo is useful if you're using the whole place, too! There is a single parking space that comes with the property, which is a good length and most cars should fit. Massive American monstrosities might struggle, but then if you're driving one of those in the Lakes you're in for a world of pain anyway 😂

Some more information on how to control the heating and WiFi would have been useful. Cell reception was decent enough, but the provided WiFi password was illegible; hosts were quick to respond to questions, but could have saved some time. The bedding in one of the rooms was also (deliberately) covered in glitter. It looked nice, but we were finding that stuff everywhere for days! If you're particularly sensitive to noise, know that the upstairs is very creaky (not really a problem and to be expected in an old house like this) and there can be quite a bit of foot traffic outside on weekend nights. Again, nothing too bad, but if you accidentally boil the house like we did, and need the windows open to sleep, you'll hear people and cars for most of the night.
