Bakery Cottage - Lake District

Leak from the shower through to the kitchen ceiling, no help from the owner of the property. Towels not fresh. Over priced.

Lovely cottage, great location

Location was so close centre of bowness town.

It was really cold. Felt like it had been empty for some time so didn't really warm up until next day. Some of the cups and bowls in kitchen were dirty. Very basic kitchen with only one small pan and one frying pan so cooking family meal was very tricky. Not very child friendly, no cot, no kids bowls, plates etc.

Perfect location and excellent standard of property. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Location was amazing, so close to everything. Very walkable! Shower pressure was insanely good. Key pick up was very easy.

We found some fake eyelashes stuck to the blanket in the lounge and the outside bin was overflowing so we had no where to put our rubbish and the smell was not great from the full bin. However, neither of these things should detract from the fact this was a fantastic find! Great value for money.

The property is quite tired-feeling in terms of facilities. We couldn't get into the property initially as the hosts shared the wrong code for the lockbox, which was very frustrating. We also discovered that the drain in the bathroom was blocked, which was not ideal.

Broken tap in kitchen no hot water, oven never worked, blinds Broken in twin room. How this cottage is this price extortionate. It shouldn't be up to rent until these faults are dealt with. And not been cleaned properly . Items of clothing on our bed on arrival
