This hotel had a convenient location. The beds and the pillows are comfortable. There was an AC, which was much appreciated in the summer heat.

Our biggest issue was cleanliness. The toilet was dirty (as in it has not been cleaned for a while) and did not flush well. There was a pervading smell of sewage. The toilet door was dirty, the bedside tables had sticky spots, the bowls inside the cupboards were all dusty, the soap bar in the shower has been used and had hairs stuck to it. There were not enough soaps for the 3 sinks, not to mention other toiletries (like shampoo). Also, the balcony we were supposed to have was nowhere to be found. The internet was slow. There was no option for paying online in advance; our due amount paid on-site ended up being quite higher than indicated on booking.com, I was asked to pay city taxes I could not check at the moment. This could have been prevented with the online payment in advance option. The manager was difficult to get hold of. The check-in procedure was neither intuitive and user-friendly nor efficient – on the front door there was only a tel. number to call with a note in Hungarian. As a foreigner, I had trouble getting through a local mobile number and what if my phone battery was down?

Good accommodation. Dinner was ok, but breakfast was poor! Overall, we had a pleasant stay in Pécs at this hotel.

We called earlier the staff that we would be late for check-in. They gave us the code and room number. But when we arrived, we couldn't open the door of our room coz the code they gave us was not correct. We called them many times but no answer. And until now no refund on my payment. The owner was approachable and understood when we called him in the morning about what happened.

Only thing good is the room.

Host doesnt answer emails, no one was there when we arrived, i didnt get a password for entrance. I had to knock on other peoples windows to ask them how they entered. No one at reception, host barely speaks english. When we finally entered the room, i booked jacuzzi with sauna. Jacuzzi was cold, and still covered and not prepared, water was dirty aswell. Sauna was hot and then was automatically turned off after half an hour, i booked 2 hours of sauna and jacuzzi. I got my money back that was fair. But i dont recommend this if you come from other country.

Nice warm room, very comfortable bed, tea and coffee in the room, so you can have a hot beverage in the morning. There was enough space, towels and hot water in the shower.

Bed lining was worn out and not spotless, there was no information about Wi-Fi in the room, the check-in was super awkward because the front door was locked, and we had to call and ask to let us in.
