Beautifully decorated and spacious room. Very cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a really good night’s sleep. The sherry was a nice touch. Breakfast in the quirky dining room was fun.

In-room breakfast service excellent. Property is intriguing, with wealth of historical background. Impressive and thoughtful restoration with comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful owners. Private dining option available with medieval ambience. No stairs Dog friendly.

Access poor First impressions on approach are negative, but soon dispelled.

The history of the castle was fascinating. The host welcomed us on arrival. The room was very comfortable.There was even a coffee .machine. The shower was spacious and the water was hot.

Perry the peacock. The hot tub. The sherry! The sunken gardens. The sheep nearby. The shelter from the massive hill. The tasty breakfast. The excellent hosts. I could go on for a while. Lovely ambience.
