Linda and Jonathan were excellent hosts. They went out of their way to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the extra added extra touches did not go unnoticed and Linda’s breakfast was of a very high standard.

This was our perfect start to our UK holiday, in fact it’s more than likely spoiled us for the rest of our trip. Every element of our stay exceeded our expectations and we are incredibly grateful to Linda and Jonathon for their generous hospitality.

Wonderful B&B in a great location for exploring York and the surrounding area. Linda and Jonathon were two of the nicest people we have ever met while travelling. By the end of our 3 night stay we felt as if we were family. The room was large and clean, the bed very comfortable. Make sure to bring an empty stomach to breakfast because they will fill you up! Don't forget who really runs the show, it's Penny!

Everything was ideal! We honestly don't have a complaint.

We loved EVERYTHING about Grove House. The room, the location, the cleanliness, but especially the owners of the B&B are the nicest couple who went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay (SO much food at breakfast) and helped us find the best restaurants and things to see. Linda actually drove us into town the first day!!! So homey and I felt mothered -- having recently lost my mother, this was a nice feeling and I so appreciate everything Linda and her husband did for us, and their little dog Penny was just the cherry on the top of a wonderful cake!

Linda and Jonathan made us feel at home. Excellent hospitallity, very friendly. Lovely pet dog Penny. Breakfast elaborate en tastefull, very nice hot shower. Lovely garden. Very good location, near York, train and bus almost at the doorstep. Nice comfy bed. Great room with sofa.

Linda and Jonathan were amazing hosts our stay in their home could not have been more pleasant breakfast was 5star rating Linda's home made bread is to die for not to forget the jam and marmalade , a absolute immaculate beautiful b and b with a stunning landscaped garden , beautiful place with the most lovely genuine hosts.
