Residenza Rubbiani - Fermata Fiera e Rizzoli

A very traditional guest house. Nothing modern about it. Completely different from all those Airbnb‘s out there.

The placed smelled a bit of stale air. Perhaps that was part of the charm.

Super friendly host. We accidentally missed all the messages she sent us asking us about our arrival time but she was super patient and greeted us friendly.

It was great! You can tell it is loved!

very authentic place, wonderful and warm, welcoming host, great location, close to the city center and very close to some really cool local, social bars, restaurants, street quiet at night, and normal during the day, close to bus station, room(s) is big, high sealing....

The location was good and the owners were friendly. And their recommendation of the nearby parking was helpful. Their restaurant suggestion was one of the best places we ate at in Italy.

For us the place was a but older and mustier than we would have liked and there was an effect on my partner's breathing. We cut our stay short. That being said, if those things aren't an issue the location is very good. We were able to wander all over central Bologna in the day we were there.

There was no breakfast but we did get a kettle and cups when we asked Imma

Some hinges and locks needed oiling. The corridor lights were slow to come on automatically
