Prime Beach Hotel

Positives Beautiful interior in main area’s of the hotel. Food caters for everyone and great selection of meats, salad, pizza, jacket pot, kebab area etc Jacket potato stall, melon stall, kebab stall, snack bar outside and open during the day. Also coffee area with great selection of coffee. Sweet pastries/cakes in the afternoon Indoor pool, sauna and turkish bath free. Free sun beds on the beach. There are lots of fridges placed around the pool area for self service to collect water. Only went to 2 nights of entertainment which 1 was absolutely brilliant which was an African group singing. We really enjoyed this night. Staff work really hard on all departments but some staff did not look happy to be working there. Few shops on site. Steps and ramps all around the grounds. Negatives Bedrooms need revamping, room 1138 shower not working properly. Lighting very dim in room. Sun beds very close together - no personal space from other people. Small glasses when getting drinks from bar - no pint glasses.

This is a truly wonderful hotel with a great selection of food (we particularly liked the charcoal grill station). The staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable, the drinks are decent for an all inclusive with plentiful measures. It’s honestly a lovely resort, the rooms aren’t exquisite but they have everything you need for the amount of time you should be spending in them. There’s so much to do in the resort and in marmaris, go out and explore and ignore the miserable ‘persons’ who moan about it. It’s far enough away from marmaris that you feel there’s no hustle and bustle but close enough for a pleasant walk. Book here for a lovely holiday! I say it again, the staff are what make it!

Hotel is huge. Smells amazing in a beautiful reception area. Very welcoming helpful staff who took our cases up to our 4th floor sea view room. Soo much to do here. Pool is great. Activities every day and entertainment at night for kids and adults. The food is outstanding, so much choice & hot and cold. Drinks 24/7. Snack restaurant too and a grill house. Jacket potatoes stall was very good but need to be early to get one. Supermarket and doctors on sight. Lovely upstairs chill out bar over looking the sea. Night club on site too. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Room cleaned and sheets towels changed daily. Just can't fault it. Be back next year defo.

Honest review, its not all negative! The hotel is beautiful the surroundings are stunning.. but the food is so repetitive we never touched it (personal choice) I have never known sunbeds to be so close together before you are literally touching the person beside you. The Entertainment stage can only fit about 300 people near it, and i'm sure there is 1000's staying here at a time. we don't expect perfect our room was 1325 and facing next doors entertainment stage ( we did get to watch their show at night) as you couldnt see the stage at prime beach. over all it wasn't bad just thought things cab be better.

I stayed at Prime Beach Hotel in Marmaris with my friends for 7 nights and had an amazing experience. The food was excellent, with different theme nights such as African night, Turkish night, and street food night – every evening was special. The beach is very large and there were always enough sunbeds available. The whole resort is beautiful, clean, and very well-maintained.The staff were all kind, helpful, and always smiling. A special thanks to the gentleman from the Guest Relations team (unfortunately I forgot his name) who gave us very useful information about the hotel and made us feel really welcome. Overall, I truly loved my stay here and I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Very out- dated hotel in need of some serious refurbishments, especially in the bedrooms. Bedrooms are very basic and nothing like the pictures on-line- they are dark and depressing! I walked into one block, and it was very Dickensian- thought I was stepping back into the 19thcentury! Couldn't wait to get home!

Had a week here in September. The hotel is in a nice setting with a private beach and easy access into both Marmaris and Icmeler. There is a promenade that runs right into Marmaris, about a 40 minute walk. The Dolmus bus stops outside the hotel and it’s 40 Lira into Marmaris. The staff are great, helpful and friendly. They keep the hotel lovely and clean. The hotel layout is nice, and the outside area is lit at night and looks lovely. It’s not 5*, well not in comparison to others we’ve stayed at but it’s nice nevertheless. Rooms are fine, a little dated but really comfy bed and good pillows. There is a single small sheet that is pretty pointless as it is so short. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, along with a fridge with bottled water and fruit juice. The main pool is a good size but the water was cold, on the first day it was not comfortable staying in for long. There isn’t a shallow end, the depth is 140cm all way round. Access is via a traditional pool ladder so not great for those with mobility difficulties. There are plenty of sun loungers by the pool but you are squashed in like sardines! This makes it less desirable to be round the pool. Any decent sun lounger position is taken by 8am. There’s an indoor pool, this is slightly less cold, and was empty. Depth is 150cm and again access via a pool ladder. It’s easier to get a subbed on the beach than round the pool. The beach is like a grit sand so not too bad. However bring some shoes you can wear in the sea as it’s very pebbly to walk into the sea. Sea was warmer than the pools by quite a long way. The coffee shop on site is great and has a good range of drinks. The patisserie is nice too, with a range of Baklava and cakes from 2pm each day. At night we preferred the pub bar to the pool bar. A bit quieter so better service. Queues at the pool bar in the evening were quite long at times. There are self serve soft drink stations in the snack bar. At the bars the beer served is Efes, the cocktail menu is limited (blue lagoon, tequila sunrise, cosmopolitan, cubra libre and Long Island ice tea). The food is average. It’s all served in hot tins and there is a big selection but the standard is like a canteen. Disappointing that there is more pasta and pizza than Turkish dishes in the buffet. There was one a la carte restaurant, that was a nice meal and as it’s traditional Turkish it was the nicest meal we had in the hotel. Other than that the best food is the salad bar, plenty of choice and really nice. Entertainment is average. There was a good group from Port Elizabeth that came to sing, other than that it was Latin dancers and karaoke. Music is not bad during the day. At night is at very repetitive- if you don’t know the words to uptown funk and shake it off you sure will by the end of the week. There is a small shop on site but lots out on the road that the hotel is on.

What an amazing experience from Start to finish. Firstly let me say this is not 5 star but the hotel is still fantastic. The hotel is clean and the staff work incredibly hard. Rooms - little on the smaller side with not much storage for a family however we had a sea/pool view room which was amazing. Pool- lovely pool facilities,my little one loved the slides. Location - fantastic location some lovely restaurants and shops within walking distance. Short taxi or bus ride to marina which was lovely and the beachside restaurants are beautiful. Staff - the staff were incredible with my little one special mention to Cio ( Bar staff) and Robin ( bar staff). They looked after us all holiday. Food- always something to choose, don’t go expecting English food you’re in turkey and the food was delicious. Lots of options from snack bar to main restaurant and grill. Overall we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this hotel.

Firstly, what a great location right on the beach and near shops and restaurants and bus stop.Staff from the moment you arrive make you feel so welcome. Room quite basic but clean but to be honest really only sleep in it so okay. Must praise the cleaning staff everywhere spotless. Evening entertainment was great. Could get very noisy due to surrounding area. Overall a great hotel. Just to say if you are looking to buy jewellery while out there is a shop opposite the hotel, Phoenix Boutique Jewellers. I have bought many items from the owner who I have known for 10 years, great prices
