Prime Beach Hotel

Fantastic Stay – Can’t Wait to Return! We’ve just arrived back from Prime Beach Hotel and honestly, we couldn’t fault a thing. We booked with TUI and the communication from start to finish was excellent. On arrival, we were greeted warmly by the lovely reception staff, who arranged for the bellboy to take us to our room. The view took our breath away – well worth paying that little extra for a larger beachfront room, which the views were spectacular day and night. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and a perfect start to our holiday. The hotel was very busy (expected for peak season), but there were always sunbeds available. Yes, some people reserved them early, but whenever we asked, the pool staff were so helpful and always found us beds. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch, and dinner – something to suit everyone. I did hear some people say it “wasn’t British enough,” but you’re on holiday in Turkey, so why not try the local cuisine? We really enjoyed the variety. The coffee shop was one of my favourite spots, with a great choice of coffees, cakes, and more. Around the hotel there are also various snack bars, and the jacket potato stand by the children’s area was another highlight for me. The housekeeping staff were also wonderful – always very friendly and keeping the rooms spotless each day. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it was clear they took pride in their work. Returning to a beautifully clean room with everything replenished daily really added to the comfort of our stay. The reception staff deserve special praise too. They were always friendly and accommodating, even though I witnessed some guests being unfair towards them. In a few cases, people claimed they had booked certain room types when they hadn’t, yet the reception team still did their best to help. I found it very poor how some treated them, as they were only doing their jobs – but they always remained professional and welcoming. We found the staff across the hotel to be amazing overall – always smiling, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding, with staff constantly keeping everything immaculate. We visited the spa, which was excellent and well worth the money. We also tried the à la carte restaurant for a birthday celebration – it was beautifully presented, very professional, and the Turkish set menu made for a special evening. The location is ideal, with a bus stop right outside for easy access to Marmaris and beyond. We booked excursions through our TUI rep, including the adult-only boat trip and the Dalyan Turtle Cruise – both highly recommended and well worth the little extra to the street shops who I found very pushy, especially when one said they would collect the money on their motorbike! Evenings were always entertaining, with great shows – the Bruno Mars and dance tribute acts were a highlight for us plus we had a giggle at the bingo! Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Everything from the staff, food, location, beach, entertainment, housekeeping, and atmosphere made it a fantastic holiday. We can’t wait to book again for next year!

We visited Ali in cuts and colours, hairdressers in the Prime Beach hotel and managed to get a same day appointment. When I arrived for my appointment Ali got straight to work and did the perfect wash and blow dry for me. We look forward to coming back next year and seeing Ali again!

WOW what can I say. I was recalling alone and been a young gay guy I have never been in a place wheee I have felt so safe and welcomed I will be booking again. My room - it was perfect size it was very clean. The housekeeping came in every day changed my towels, bedding clean my balcony the housekeeping was very polite. Nothing was enough. The housekeeping always filling up my fridge with water and juice and just all in all accommodating. Bar and coffee shop staff - i was on my own this trip. The bar staff and the staff from the coffee shop staff always was checking in on me offering me drinks give me table service really polite, helpful making my experience a confutable and relaxing time. The food - I would give the food a 10/10 I am a very picky eater and what I found that there was something there for everyone. The pizza was absolutely amazing. The pasta bar was brilliant but would have liked garlic bread as an option. But that was more my preference. There was food available 24/7 if not from The restaurant there were sandwiches in the bar late at night. Turkish salads, ham salad, cheese, and salad sandwiches. All on a fresh bread roll. The beach - secluded and security on it all day and night felt safe and never hassled from people trying to sell stuff. Sun beds were available and if all was taken up, the staff would go and get one from the hotel and bring down to the beach. This i had seen several times throughout my week stay. The Pool - there was three pool one in door, a kids and then the main pool I seen that it was cleaned every night. I never found it hard to get a sun lounge and was plenty available. The Spa - wow I booked in here and had the best experience I have been to many in Turkey and never some out feeling like I did I was so relaxed and well looked after. One lady I was unable to get her name I believe it may have been Rita a young African lady if you go try and book with her she was amazing.

This is my second time at Prime Beach Hotel. Stayed for 10 days. Overall good experience but of course there’s always room for improvement:) ROOMS We had the sea view room, and the view was probably the best part of it. Because the rooms themselves are quite small and definitely need some refurbishing. Last time we stayed at the sea side view room and that one was definitely bigger and had a nice closet. In this room we had a small closet and for girls, if you have long dresses, you won’t be able to hang them fully. Also no iron in the room itself. But overall it’s not a terrible room, I’d give it 2,5/5 and also the cleaning staff were great. FOOD I’m quite picky with food but here could always find something to eat. Also a special thanks for the coffee corner where I could always get a nice cappuccino and iced coffee. They also serve very tasty ice cream and have a nice selection of desserts. For me the food was 4/5 SEA & POOL They do have tons of sun beds however couple of times we couldn’t find any available sun beds at the beach. As always people reserve the beds in the early morning and then are gone for hours. With the pool you could always find sun beds at any time of the day. The sun beds themselves were quite nice and comfy. Overall 4/5 ENTERTAINMENT The hotel had a great entertainment team. Special shoutout to Uzzy, Ali, Ayşe and Gül. Very easygoing and funny guys. Enjoyed participating in some of the games and activities, though normally I’m not a fan of those. So 5/5 to them for making the stay more enjoyable LOCATION The hotel is located not that far from the city center. And you can always take a taxi or a bus to get there. We took the bus couple of times. Costs 40 lira and you get to the center in less than 10 minutes. Also a lot of shops near the hotel itself. And they have a nice cafe called Emy’s cake and coffee next to the hotel. I would go there sometimes for a nice frapuccino. So location wise for me it’s also 5/5

Hotel is not 5 star and TUI need to review this Rooms are very dated and need a major refurbishment Shelving fell down as soon as we put clothes on it Knobs fell off the drawers when opened The safe has batteries which will pop out so you won’t be able to get back into it so didn’t use Air con is very noisy and we had power cut in our room a couple of night Other guests no consideration for guests already in bed very noisy Entertainment very poor and the Music is a laptop on repeat As for Sun beds around the pool. Don’t bother unless your a sardine The beach is best place to go Food is ok and always find something to eat although got repetitive The jacket potato stall is very good Now for the staff Not the service I have received before whilst in Turkey they are always looking for or asking for a tip of some sort The place was overrun by ignorant and rude people who have no manners and push in all the orderly queues that have been formed and nothing said to them at all I am not the only one who commented on this whilst at the pool bar or in the restaurant I would not return to this hotel We had great time with our friends but I just wanted to make brits aware of what to expect at this hotel

Definitely not 5* We travelling in August 2025  I will start by saying the best thing is the fact that they have lots of bottled water stocked in fridges throughout the hotel. You can just help yourself. Ive not seen this at many hotels before and I though this was a nice touch as its important to stay hydrated and its important not to drink local water when you go abroad.   2. The food is poor. Having stayed at numerous all inclusives and accessed the buffets. I know what to expect and therefore expectations are never high. But this has to be one of the worst. If not the worst. That said the salads are nice. They also did a grilled chicken one of the days that was really nice. And they often have different dessert stations some everyday and some on different days.  They serve jacket potato which is a nice change actually. But the serve it with cold beans. And as we know as British people. Your beans must be hot. That is such a strange addition.   We had an incident where one of our party had to go to the hospital. The hotel manager was good and checked on us the following day. However their experience at the hospital and in the hotel before getting to the hospital was not great. Just no urgency from the manager on call no understanding from general staff or around the complex when I was simply asking for ICE. There was no language barrier they just couldn't be bothered.  another incident when my son got a bee sting - we asked for help. They have an onsite doctors office that is staffed by a nurse during opening hours. She is neither use nor ornament. She said she could not help with a bee sting that we either needed to call the doctor to the hotel at a cost to us or go to the hospital as any treatment needed would require a doctor and a prescription. We ended up going to a local pharmacy and getting a topical spray for a couple of pounds. But even this the nurse was reluctant to give any advice on without payment. There is definitely some form of commission system in place with local medical establishments. I would therefore advise you to be wary of this if you need medical support. I say this because if a Turkish adult or child were to have a bee sting. What would they do - surely they wouldn't send them to A&E and say that they needed a doctor. I will add there was no anaphylaxis or allergic reaction just pain from the sting.  There are only 2 pools. One does have a slide which the kids enjoyed. No complaints regarding this. Other than to say it gets very busy and you will struggle to find a lounger. I speak about this further down. Positive. They cordon off the pool until 8am to ensure that no one hogs the sun loungers before this time. Seems like a sensible approach but people still do this but from 8am. I got down at 8.30 one morning and they were all gone. Apparently it's carnage if you get here at 8am with people running for loungers etc. I am not willing to do that.  The room The room has a mini fridge with complimentary water and juice cartons. There is no iron in the room and no facility to get an iron. But if you want to pay per item for an extortionate amount they will wash iron and launder your clothes for you.  There is no alcohol in the room. Not the end of the world but it's important to note because that is what I'm used to. A few optics with different spirits that you help yourself to. And chasers in the fridge. This is standard for most 4* hotels. So surprised this was not a consideration here. But that being said. There would be no room for it.  They do offer. Complimentary slippers in the room.  The rooms are very very small. Little to no storage, no where to hang your clothes and no shelves/drawers to put clothes or other things. No where to put suitcases. Which if the room was big enough I would have just kept clothes in the suitcase and lived out of the case for 1 week. But there is no where to put the suitcase so you can't. There was a couple of complimentary bits like nail file and shower gel. The sheet on the bed to cover with is very strange. Half the size of the bed. So it only covers you up to your chest or if you pull it up to your neck your feet are hanging out the other end exposed and getting cold. I'm only 5ft 3" so not particularly tall person for this to be the case. It was a lot worse for my husband who is 6ft 3".  They do not clean the rooms properly. I noticed on some of the days that they don't even wipe round the sink. It was left full of toothpaste etc. Which is not good at all.  I will say that they have a nice little system where you can message them on Whatsapp and tell them what you need during your stay. One night we didn't have any toilet paper. So I send a message around 2 am and within 5 mins there was a man knocking at the door with two rolls. I will say that he was knocking very loudly as everyone else was sleeping and I had no clothes on so took a few seconds to get dressed with him knocking more loudly and aggressively.  Wifi connection is poor throughout the hotel.  Bar  Such a little bar for a big hotel is odd.  Just one by the pool. No others are easily accessible.   Other easily accessible bars appear to be coffee and soft drinks only.  I was told there was another 2 bars with alcohol not just the pool bar but they were not easy to be seen. And actually could not be found. I think one may have been in the club/pub which is up the stairs opposite the pool bar. But that is no use to any one who just wants a drink around the hotel. I will say the one bar that was functional was accessible although people were queuing and it only had 2 staff serving at one time. The wait was never too excessive though. They keep the cocktail menu small so there is not much to chose from or make so think this assists with quicker drink making and choices. There is maybe 4/5 cocktails on this list. They are not good cocktails. Simple things like blue lagoon and sex on the beach. Not really my cup of tea. The first drink I asked for was a gin and tonic - thought I would keep it simple. It was poured and I sipped it. It was flat - so I stated as much to the bar tender and she just shrugged her shoulders and scowled. I think she though that would make me leave with the drink. I made her remake it.  Entertainment  The entertainment exists.  The kids entertainment was very very weak - I am simply comparing this to other holidays I have been on. So that may not be a fair statement. That said all the entertainment staff were lovely. Especially Rose.  Marmaris  If you go into the centre towards Icmelar (not sure that is how its spelt). There is a great restaurant and bar named MINT lounge. They are very nice welcoming and I will definitely go back here. Marmaris its self is very commercial with lots of shops and selling techniques from vendors. I didn't see much of Marmaris for this reason.  If you are looking for goods. There is a shop directly opposite 1st shop on the left/corner. I wish I would have discovered this shop sooner than my last day as the quality in this shop was by far the best than a lot I  had seen in Marmaris over the 1 week. I unfortunately had spent up by this point.  I will reiterate again here that the hotel is not a 5* hotel and I'm not sure why it has this rating. If I think of anything else I will update the review.

Stayed here 7-14th August. Booked with easyJet holidays and upgraded to a pool/sea view room which was well worth it. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the main building and had a beautiful view. The rooms are far too small for more than 2 people though and could do with a little refresh. The hotel was packed during our stay and if we wasn’t in the queue for sunbeds by 7.45 we had no chance of getting one! The sun beds are too close to one another with no space to move about! Pool is small for the amount of people staying in the hotel. Food wasn’t amazing but we always found something to eat. We liked the jacket potato stand. I got sick the day we travelled home though, not sure what from but read other reviews mentioning a sickness bug. Drinks weren’t good at all. I never enjoyed any cocktails. They were the usual all inclusive rubbish. The water fridges were a nice touch though in the extreme heat. We stayed at the hotel a few nights to watch the entertainment which was good. My little boy enjoyed the shows and we liked playing bingo. The hotel is beautiful lit up at night and with the water fountain on. We booked the hotel photographer to take photos of us as a family. When it came to viewing these, he was extremely pushy with us. We agreed a price which was more than what I wanted to pay but was promised a photo album to put the photos in. When my partner collected the photos, there was no album. I went back and complained and the photographer wasn’t there. It was a different man and he refused to give me the album. He phoned the photographer who denied it all. After saying I would take it further he eventually gave me one. His attitude was disgusting. The photos are way over priced. The photographer then ignored us for the rest of the holiday. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. Just a few things let it down from being a 5 star.

Honestly this hotel is now the best hotel in marmaris this is our 3rd year returning I can say nothing NOTHING NEGATIVE BOOKED for October . I can repeat my last post but why for anyone else that wants to put a negative on this hotel.. Don't do it Arrived just before english schools broke up and was still there when families arrived Sum beds plenty around pool .. Both pool by the way Beach sun beds and private pier still plenty Food amazing Always a table and maybe 3 people in front of you to get food but that's because we are all reading whats inside the freshly cooked incubators not because its manic Only negative 14 nights go to quick

We booked a large beach view room that was amazing well worth it, we had our 10 &14 year old with us they love pools usually but not so much here as very small pool area for amount of guests in my opinion , and the sunbeds all crammed literally next to each other so no personal space at all, the food and drink was average for all inclusive , with exception of nice touches such as jacket stand which I had each time I ate there as I'm veggie and had little other choices except salad , I did get cheese pizza one day and had small pieces of meat in it so didn't try again lol, the staff were lovely and friendly , the best for me was the beach area which is amazing, if it wasn't for the pool area we would go back as accept in Turkey all inclusive you need to eat out unless you want the same each meal

Big pool and great staff a lot sunbeds finding fast no problem life guard is helpful xx lovely holiday i definitely recommend and come back again
