"Service at Solaz"

I can’t get over how incredible the service was at Solaz. Specifically Karla and Mariela at the Juice bar outside the gym. She really got to know us over the week on a personal level, knew our orders by heart, and made us a special gift at the end of trip. If you’re looking for overall great service this is where you want to stay. Our Artisan Butler Diego was also fantastic. Kept his distance but also was there in a second when he was needed. Helped us organize our trip and gave recommendations in our price point.

"House keeping steals"

0/10 Stars- the house keeping staff steals and when a stolen watch was reported nothing was done and the manager smiled and laughed when we asked them to review footage. This was a sentimental watch and we are heart broken about it!

"OMEGA WATCH STOLEN FROM ROOM"

THEY STOLE MY WATCH OUT OF ROOM AND REFUSE TO MAKE IT!!! On Friday October 31st in the morning my watch was taken. My room privacy light was on and completely avoided. Watch was worn to wedding rehearsal walk through at 9:00 am. Went back to room at 9:45 to change for the pool before breakfast. At this point the watch was taken off and placed on my night stand. WE HAVE ASKED MANY TIMES FOR VIDEO SURVALLIANCE SHOWING I HAD THE WATCH… IN WITCH CASE THEY ANSWER SORRY WE CAN NOT PROVIDE THAT. I was here for my best friends wedding. They proceed by needing to pull me away from wedding party and going up to search my room. Of course, NO WATCH! They proceed to lie to me by telling me a police report had been filed. It wasn’t until the morning Sunday morning after giving them 2 days to get to the bottom of it that They proceed by saying oh we are sorry no police report was filed and if you wish to file one you have to go do that. They told me this knowing I had to leave property at 11:00. Literally gave me 90 minutes notice. Absolutely disgusting. It looks like the entire staff is in on it. I even asked for the logs of who has been in my room, won’t provide anything! All they say “sorry nothing we can do for you” Asking for people to help stand up with this and make it right!! We have traveled with Marriott for over 20 years. My family has the highest status with them. Clearly loyalty means nothing to this company.

"Breathtaking views in the Lap of Luxury!"

We had the pleasure of staying at Solaz for a friend’s birthday celebration. The room was beautiful, with an entry courtyard and plunge pool on the balcony (ground floor). The pools are magnificent and the views are incredible! All the staff are wonderful - from the restaurants to the pools!! Benjamín, Josue, and the entire “Artisan Butler” team are a joy to work with and are truly professional, kind, and really make an effort to answer every question and provide information! Go to Cabo, stay at Solaz, and be ready to be pampered in your stay, your taste buds, and just by the amazing environment of Solaz!!

"Excellent First Time"

We stayed at Solaz for one week. The service was top notch from the moment we arrived. Raul the bellman took our luggage up to the room and explained how everything works. He was in no rush , very polite and courteous. Carlos at the front desk was always polite and answered any question can came his way. We will be back.

"Beautiful hotel, amazing staff"

We just returned from a three nights stay at the Solaz. The hotel is an architectural beauty. Beauty and the staff is beyond hospitable. From Josue (butler) who checked in with us daily to ensure we were comfortable and offered friendly conversation and tips on Cabo, to Aracely (Cascabel) who was so great each morning while I waited for my mocha, to Karla (Foresta) who gave us some great restaurant recommendations, and Lea (concierge) who flawlessly set up plans for us ahead of our stay – each interaction was genuine and memorable. The spa experience was probably one of the best we’ve seen in a while, globally. What a retreat. The only thing which was offputting was being quickly handed off to the club ambassador immediately following check-in. We were tired and hungry and wanted to get to our room but had to sit through a sales pitch, and the ambassador was not reading our cues that we were not interested at the time and wanted to move along. Turns out, we wouldn’t have been able to make the breakfasts they were offering, anyhow because of our plans, but she didn’t lead with that leaving us feeling trapped for approximately 10 minutes. I’d urge a hotel to drink think this handoff – or train the ambassadors to “read“ the guests as the hotel staff understands how to do so well!

"Awesome hotel watch wheels form the pool."

I have stayed here twice. The first time was whale season and you could sit in the pool and watch the whales it was awesome. My only complaint was the beach was very soft and hard to walk on. The second trip in September the beach sand was packed and easy to walk on. Not a lot of people on the beach so it is great atmosphere. If you get a plunge pool I do not think they re heated so in the winter they were too cold for me. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and spacious. The real star here is the service. I would put this hotel on par with a ritz or 4 seasons for the service. Food at restaurants is good with good variety across the resort.

"Amazing Anniversary Trip!"

Just wrapped up an incredible anniversary trip to Cabo! We stayed 4 nights at Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort, and the property was absolutely stunning. Hands down one of the best Marriott properties we’ve experienced! We booked with points (Gold Member) for a standard room and were upgraded to a gorgeous ocean-view suite with a private plunge pool. The staff, ambiance, and restaurants were all five-star - every meal we had was fantastic. We loved walking along the beach, working out in their beautiful gym, grabbing smoothies, and relaxing by the many pools. The resort never felt crowded, and the weather was perfect the entire stay. The spa was also amazing - one of the best spas I’ve been to. I got a facial, and my husband joined me for the hydrotherapy, which you can access for just $39 per day, totally worth it! Already counting down the days until we can come back next year!
